Daha önceki kazılarda da MÖ 3. binyıla tarihlenen tabakalar bulunmuş olsa da bunlarla ilgili kapsamlı bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu makalede Bayraklı yerleşiminin MÖ 3. binyıla tarihlenen tabakalarından elde edilen arkeolojik veriler, radyokarbon (C14) yaş tayini analizleri ile değerlendirilerek MÖ 3. binyıl stratigrafisi ve kronolojisi sunulmuştur.

The last Ottoman censuswas begun in 1320 AH and was ended in 1322 according to Population Regulat... more The last Ottoman censuswas begun in 1320 AH and was ended in 1322 according to Population Regulation in 1316. The most significant feature of this census is its constituting a basis to today's population registry documents. Debbaglar village was an administrative unit of Balyambolu (Beydağ) district at that time. It was registered 252 people who were 118 men and 134 women in 57 houses in the census made on 6th March 1321. According to these registers, the oldest head of family was Haci Esma Hanim born in 1240 (1824). The youngest head of family was Mercanoglu Mehmet born in 1308. The most crowded house was 44th house including 5 people. 26 houses are today closed record. 17 houses don't have surnames.

The deed of trust of Altıparmak Hacı İlyas in İzmir The one of the copies of the deed of trust of... more The deed of trust of Altıparmak Hacı İlyas in İzmir The one of the copies of the deed of trust of Hacı İlyas, dated 1649, was first published in Latin scrift in this paper. Information given in this deed is valuable from the history of İzmir point of view. Hacı İlyas, a rich Muslim man from İzmir, known as Altıparmak, declared his trust in 1649 to do Islamic activities in İzmir. His all trust estates were at the quarter of Güngörmez in Izmir. He constructed a small mosque in İzmir. In fact, his aim was to convert his small mosque to big mosque in İzmir.
