Anxiety disorder is one of many mental disorders suffered most by the global population. The symp... more Anxiety disorder is one of many mental disorders suffered most by the global population. The symptoms of anxiety disorder can be acknowledged with the appearance of nervousness or anxiety which persists within the daily life of an individual, trouble sleeping, nervousness, or experiencing prolonged sensations of anxiety (DSM-5). The purpose of this research is to discover the effectiveness of the usage of mediation applications towards anxiety suffered by university students. This research employs the experimental research scheme and the research design of a Controlled Laboratory Experiment. The research sample involves five participants in the Experimental Group, with the criteria of each participant as university students in the age range of 18-22 years old. The anxiety level measurements are interpreted with the measuring instrument of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7). The results showed that the significance value was P > 0.05 so that the pre-and post-test results did not change significantly. While the results of the descriptive analysis of the data on the initial test and the final test found mean value is reduced to 5.20. Paired sample t-test found that there is no significant change in the level of anxiety of students who received an intervention in the form of meditation.
