O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a criação de um indicador de emissão de gases efeito estufa... more O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a criação de um indicador de emissão de gases efeito estufa (GEE) para uma planta petroquímica, que será utilizado no acompanhamento diário da unidade. Desta forma, o monitoramento e a possibilidade de redução das emissões por meio de ações de engenharia, além de contribuir para o desenvolvimento de um modelo de produção sustentável, agregarão valor ao processo e ao produto final, contribuindo sobremaneira no controle de emissões ambientais da planta e, quiçá, exemplo para outras unidades industriais petroquímicas.

Objetivo: identificar as tecnologias de enfermagem e o impacto que estas causam na prática assist... more Objetivo: identificar as tecnologias de enfermagem e o impacto que estas causam na prática assistencial do enfermeiro. Método: Revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada em outubro de 2012, nas bases de dados LILACS, PUBMED e BDENF. Após as buscas, foi realizada leitura dos artigos selecionados, constatando-se que 34 destes atendiam aos critérios de inclusão/exclusão estabelecidos. Resultados e Discussão: Os dados evidenciaram predominância dos artigos selecionados: na Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem (REBEN), com 8 publicações (23,5%); no ano de 2009, com 14 artigos (41,2%); tendo como local de desenvolvimento a UTI, com 9 (26,5%); o tipo de estudo, mais da metade foram descritivos, totalizando 17 publicações (50,3%); dentre as tecnologias abordadas, sobressaiu as gerais na prática da enfermagem, com 16 (47%); tratando-se da classificação destas tecnologias, em 17 artigos (50,3%), classificou-se como dura. Objetivo: Caracterizar as dissertações e teses disponíveis no Banco de Teses da Coordenação de Ap... more Objetivo: Caracterizar as dissertações e teses disponíveis no Banco de Teses da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior que versam sobre o desenvolvimento de software para a área da saúde e enfermagem. Método: Pesquisa documental realizada através de um protocolo estruturado com os indicadores: nível acadêmico; local do estudo; ano de publicação; subárea do conhecimento; desenho metodológico; temática abordada. Resultados e Discussão: Foram encontrados 37 estudos, entre teses e dissertações, e a partir dos critérios de inclusão foram selecionados oito estudos. O perfil dos estudos demonstrou que 62,5% são referentes ao mestrado; a maioria foi publicada no ano de 2009; 62,5% desenvolvidos no estado de São Paulo; 50% fez referencia ao termo geral “enfermagem”; 25% são pesquisas metodológicas; e 50% tratam da criação de sistemas informatizados utilizados como metodologias de ensino. ABSTRACT In this work, new glass compositions were prepared in the ternary system GeO2–K2O–Ta2O5.... more ABSTRACT In this work, new glass compositions were prepared in the ternary system GeO2–K2O–Ta2O5. Potassium oxide was added to reach the complete melt of the starting mixture and two composition series were investigated: the first one with a constant K2O molar content of 10% in the ternary system (90–x)GeO2–10K2O–xTa2O5 and the second one with the same molar content of K2O and Ta2O5 in the ternary system (100–2x)GeO2–xK2O–xTa2O5. Homogeneous and transparent glasses could be obtained between x = 0 and 20. X-ray diffraction analyzes of samples with x = 25 identified orthorhombic Ta2O5 in the first series and an isostructure of K3.8Ge3Nb5O20.4 in the second series where it is assumed that Ta5+ ions are inserted in the Nb5+ sites. As one of our goal with these materials is related with the preparation of glass-ceramics containing Ta2O5 nanocrystals, the first series has been selected for further characterizations. An increase in glass-transition temperatures with increasing Ta2O5 content as well as an increase of the thermal stability from x = 0 to 10 has been identified by differential scanning calorimetry. For higher contents, crystallization events were identified. Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectroscopic characterizations allowed to point out the intermediary behavior of Ta2O5 in the vitreous network where TaO6 octahedra are inserted inside the germanate network with TaO6 clusters identified at higher Ta2O5 contents. Heat-treated samples with high tantalum contents (x = 15 and 20) exhibit preferential precipitation of orthorhombic Ta2O5 with nanometric size, suggesting the possibility of obtaining transparent glass-ceramics for optical applications.

The glass forming ability was investigated in the codoped Er 3+ /Yb 3+ ternary system NaPO 3-WO 3... more The glass forming ability was investigated in the codoped Er 3+ /Yb 3+ ternary system NaPO 3-WO 3-PbF 2 with increasing amounts of PbF 2. It has been found that glass samples can be obtained for PbF 2 contents ranging from 0 mole% to 50 mole% for the codoped samples and an undoped sample containing 60% of lead fluoride could also be vitrified. Thermal properties of the most PbF 2 concentrated glasses exhibit strong dependence of the composition with a decrease of the glass transition temperatures and thermal stabilities against devitrification with increasing the lead fluoride content. These glass samples were heat-treated near the crystallization peaks and the X-ray diffraction measurements pointed out that the dominant phase which precipitates from the glass samples containing 40% and 50% of PbF 2 is the lead fluorophosphate phase Pb 5 F(PO 4) 3 whereas the sample containing 60% of PbF 2 exhibits a preferential bulk crystallization of cubic lead fluoride β-PbF 2 .

In this work, tantalum alkali-phosphate glasses were prepared in the ternary system 0.9[(100 − x)... more In this work, tantalum alkali-phosphate glasses were prepared in the ternary system 0.9[(100 − x) NaPO 3 − xTa 2 O 5 ] − 0.1K 2 O with x varying from 0 to 20. The thermal properties as a function of Ta 2 O 5 content were investigated by Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Differential Thermal Analysis in order to understand the influence of composition on glass transition temperatures and crystallization behaviors. Increasing Ta 2 O 5 content leads to a drastic and linear increase of glass transition temperatures in agreement with the increasing viscosity of the melt observed during the synthesis. In addition, Ta 2 O 5 incorporation results in high thermal stability against devitrification, suggesting the intermediary role of tantalum in the alkali-phosphate network. Comparison of powder and bulk thermal analyzes also pointed out a dominant surface crystallization mechanism for these glass samples. UV-visible absorption measurements proved the high visible transparency of the samples and a decrease of the optical bandgap energy with tantalum addition, suggesting an increase of the glass network covalency. Finally, vibrational spectroscopies performed by FTIR and Raman support the hypothesis of tantalum insertion inside the phosphate tetrahedral network with TaO 6 units cross-linking the metaphosphate and pyrophosphate units. Thus, the intermediary behavior of tantalum increases the network connectivity with higher rigidity, glass transition temperatures and thermal stabilities against devitrification.

Objective: To identify the main nursing diagnostic labels and the respective interventions throug... more Objective: To identify the main nursing diagnostic labels and the respective interventions through the main clinical manifestations presented by individuals poisoned by the venom of the spider Phoneutria nigriventer found in the literature. Method: Integrative review of literature consulted in PubMed and BVS databases, printed publications and official websites related to the theme. The nursing diagnostic labels were developed based on taxonomy II from the American Nursing Diagnosis Association International and the planning of nursing interventions in accordance with the Nursing Interventions Classification. Results: From the findings, it was possible to identify eight diagnostic labels and the respective nursing interventions. Conclusion: We found few studies addressing the clinical manifestations presented by individuals poisoned by the venom of the spider Phoneutria nigriventer and nursing performance in these cases.

O estudo objetivou identificar, nos escolares de uma escola da rede pública de Natal-RN, alteraçõ... more O estudo objetivou identificar, nos escolares de uma escola da rede pública de Natal-RN, alterações dos padrões de papel e relacionamento, de resposta e tolerância ao estresse e de crença e valor, além de identificar a frequência dos rótulos de diagnósticos de enfermagem encontrados nesses três padrões. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-transversal quantitativo, com estudantes do 5º ao 9º ano, constituindo uma amostra de 276 sujeitos, realizado entre fevereiro e março de 2011. Um instrumento baseado nos Padrões Funcionais de Saúde foi utilizado para a coleta de dados, os quais foram analisados através da estatística descritiva com distribuição em frequências absolutas e relativas, e discutidos com base na literatura. Method: This is an integrative review, using LILACS/PubMed databases and printed publications related to the theme. Results: The compilation of the signs and symptoms of this type of accident enabled the clinical assessment and the elaboration of the main 10 nursing diagnostic labels based on the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association-International, determining the planning of nursing interventions according to the Nursing Interventions Classification. Conclusion: The identification of nursing diagnoses and interventions allows understanding patients as a whole, taking into account the various biological, psychological and social complications that may arise. Trata-se de exame criteriosamente estruturado que permite melhorar a validade e confiabilidade da avaliação de aspectos das competências clínicas dos alunos. Na enfermagem, o Exame Clínico Objetivo Estruturado é introduzido como ferramenta de avaliação na graduação, contribuindo para melhorar o processo de formação e, apesar da crescente utilização, são escassos os estudos realizados por enfermeiros, constituindo um desafio para a busca de maior conhecimento científico por meio de pesquisas.

The main objective of this work has been to prepare and characterize the thermal and structural p... more The main objective of this work has been to prepare and characterize the thermal and structural properties of glasses in the pseudo binary system TeO 2-Pb(PO 3) 2 with respect to the composition. Homogeneous and transparent glass samples were obtained by the melt-quenching method in a large glass forming range in the pseudo binary system (100 − x)TeO 2-xPb(PO 3) 2 with x varying from 5 to 100. Thermal properties investigated by DSC pointed out an increase of the glass transition temperature from x = 5 to x = 40 and further decrease of Tg for higher Pb(PO 3) 2 concentrations. A similar tendency has been observed for the thermal stability against devitrification measured using the stability parameter Tx-Tg. FTIR together with Raman spectroscopies allowed building a structural model for these glasses with the contribution of distinct phosphate and tellurite units depending on the composition. Identification of crystalline phases obtained after the glasses heat-treatments obtained by X-ray diffraction support the structural evolution suggested by vibrational spectroscopies. These data suggest that incorporation of TeO 2 in the lead metaphosphate glass results in tellurium conversion from TeO 4 seesaw geometry to TeO 3 trigonal pyramids and consequent conversion of well-known metaphosphate units Q 2 to modified pyrophosphate units Q 2 1Te in which the phosphorus PO 4 tetrahedron is linked to another PO 4 unit and one TeO 3 pyramid. These tellurite trigonal units cross-link the modified metaphosphate chains with a resulting increase of the glass network connectivity. For high TeO 2 concentrations, all Q 2 were converted to Q 2 1Te and the additional tellurium atoms are incorporated in the glass network as TeO 4 seesaw units with a glass network built from a tridimensional network of TeO 3 , TeO 4 and Q 2 1Te. Finally, this work pointed out the possibility to use this pseudobinary system for the preparation of phosphate glass-ceramics containing a TeO 2 crystalline phase or tellurite glass-ceramics containing a pyrophosphate or metaphosphate crystalline phase.

Glasses were prepared by the melt-quenching method in the ternary system Pb(PO 3) 2-WO 3-PbF 2 an... more Glasses were prepared by the melt-quenching method in the ternary system Pb(PO 3) 2-WO 3-PbF 2 and doped with Er 3+ in order to prepare luminescent transparent glass-ceramics. This work focused on thermal and structural characterization of tungsten lead-phosphate glasses and crystallization study for preparing transparent glass-ceramics. Thermal properties such as thermal stability and crystallization behavior upon heating were investigated by DSC in function of PbF 2 content. For low PbF 2 concentrations, only one crystallization peak due to Pb 3 (PO 4) 2 is observed whereas samples containing more than 15% of PbF 2 present another exothermic event at lower temperatures related with precipitation of PbF 2 , Pb 2 P 2 O 7 and Pb 2 OF 2. Structural investigations by Raman spectroscopy suggest that PbF 2 modifies the tungsten-phosphate network through the formation of P-F and P-O-Pb bonds but the average network connectivity remains almost constant. A crystallization study has been performed by DSC to investigate the dominant crystallization mechanisms in these glasses and it has been established that Pb 3 (PO 4) 2 is nucleated on the surface whereas PbF 2 , Pb 2 P 2 O 7 and Pb 2 OF 2 crystallize dominantly from the glassy bulk. Transparent glass-ceramics containing nanosized PbF 2 crystallites were also prepared by suitable heat-treatment on the glass sample containing 20% of PbF 2 and Raman microscopy of these glass-ceramics supports the crystallization mechanisms determined by DSC.

Objective: To identify the main nursing diagnostic labels and the respective interventions throug... more Objective: To identify the main nursing diagnostic labels and the respective interventions through the main clinical manifestations presented by individuals poisoned by the venom of the spider Phoneutria nigriventer found in the literature. Method: Integrative review of literature consulted in PubMed and BVS databases, printed publications and official websites related to the theme. The nursing diagnostic labels were developed based on taxonomy II from the American Nursing Diagnosis Association International and the planning of nursing interventions in accordance with the Nursing Interventions Classification. Results: From the findings, it was possible to identify eight diagnostic labels and the respective nursing interventions. Conclusion: We found few studies addressing the clinical manifestations presented by individuals poisoned by the venom of the spider Phoneutria nigriventer and nursing performance in these cases.

O estudo objetivou identificar, nos escolares de uma escola da rede pública de Natal-RN, alteraçõ... more O estudo objetivou identificar, nos escolares de uma escola da rede pública de Natal-RN, alterações dos padrões de papel e relacionamento, de resposta e tolerância ao estresse e de crença e valor, além de identificar a frequência dos rótulos de diagnósticos de enfermagem encontrados nesses três padrões. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-transversal quantitativo, com estudantes do 5º ao 9º ano, constituindo uma amostra de 276 sujeitos, realizado entre fevereiro e março de 2011. Um instrumento baseado nos Padrões Funcionais de Saúde foi utilizado para a coleta de dados, os quais foram analisados através da estatística descritiva com distribuição em frequências absolutas e relativas, e discutidos com base na literatura. Method: This is an integrative review, using LILACS/PubMed databases and printed publications related to the theme. Results: The compilation of the signs and symptoms of this type of accident enabled the clinical assessment and the elaboration of the main 10 nursing diagnostic labels based on the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association-International, determining the planning of nursing interventions according to the Nursing Interventions Classification. Conclusion: The identification of nursing diagnoses and interventions allows understanding patients as a whole, taking into account the various biological, psychological and social complications that may arise. Trata-se de exame criteriosamente estruturado que permite melhorar a validade e confiabilidade da avaliação de aspectos das competências clínicas dos alunos. Na enfermagem, o Exame Clínico Objetivo Estruturado é introduzido como ferramenta de avaliação na graduação, contribuindo para melhorar o processo de formação e, apesar da crescente utilização, são escassos os estudos realizados por enfermeiros, constituindo um desafio para a busca de maior conhecimento científico por meio de pesquisas.

The main objective of this work has been to prepare and characterize the thermal and structural p... more The main objective of this work has been to prepare and characterize the thermal and structural properties of glasses in the pseudo binary system TeO 2-Pb(PO 3) 2 with respect to the composition. Homogeneous and transparent glass samples were obtained by the melt-quenching method in a large glass forming range in the pseudo binary system (100 − x)TeO 2-xPb(PO 3) 2 with x varying from 5 to 100. Thermal properties investigated by DSC pointed out an increase of the glass transition temperature from x = 5 to x = 40 and further decrease of Tg for higher Pb(PO 3) 2 concentrations. A similar tendency has been observed for the thermal stability against devitrification measured using the stability parameter Tx-Tg. FTIR together with Raman spectroscopies allowed building a structural model for these glasses with the contribution of distinct phosphate and tellurite units depending on the composition. Identification of crystalline phases obtained after the glasses heat-treatments obtained by X-ray diffraction support the structural evolution suggested by vibrational spectroscopies. These data suggest that incorporation of TeO 2 in the lead metaphosphate glass results in tellurium conversion from TeO 4 seesaw geometry to TeO 3 trigonal pyramids and consequent conversion of well-known metaphosphate units Q 2 to modified pyrophosphate units Q 2 1Te in which the phosphorus PO 4 tetrahedron is linked to another PO 4 unit and one TeO 3 pyramid. These tellurite trigonal units cross-link the modified metaphosphate chains with a resulting increase of the glass network connectivity. For high TeO 2 concentrations, all Q 2 were converted to Q 2 1Te and the additional tellurium atoms are incorporated in the glass network as TeO 4 seesaw units with a glass network built from a tridimensional network of TeO 3 , TeO 4 and Q 2 1Te. Finally, this work pointed out the possibility to use this pseudobinary system for the preparation of phosphate glass-ceramics containing a TeO 2 crystalline phase or tellurite glass-ceramics containing a pyrophosphate or metaphosphate crystalline phase.

Glasses were prepared by the melt-quenching method in the ternary system Pb(PO 3) 2-WO 3-PbF 2 an... more Glasses were prepared by the melt-quenching method in the ternary system Pb(PO 3) 2-WO 3-PbF 2 and doped with Er 3+ in order to prepare luminescent transparent glass-ceramics. This work focused on thermal and structural characterization of tungsten lead-phosphate glasses and crystallization study for preparing transparent glass-ceramics. Thermal properties such as thermal stability and crystallization behavior upon heating were investigated by DSC in function of PbF 2 content. For low PbF 2 concentrations, only one crystallization peak due to Pb 3 (PO 4) 2 is observed whereas samples containing more than 15% of PbF 2 present another exothermic event at lower temperatures related with precipitation of PbF 2 , Pb 2 P 2 O 7 and Pb 2 OF 2. Structural investigations by Raman spectroscopy suggest that PbF 2 modifies the tungsten-phosphate network through the formation of P-F and P-O-Pb bonds but the average network connectivity remains almost constant. A crystallization study has been performed by DSC to investigate the dominant crystallization mechanisms in these glasses and it has been established that Pb 3 (PO 4) 2 is nucleated on the surface whereas PbF 2 , Pb 2 P 2 O 7 and Pb 2 OF 2 crystallize dominantly from the glassy bulk. Transparent glass-ceramics containing nanosized PbF 2 crystallites were also prepared by suitable heat-treatment on the glass sample containing 20% of PbF 2 and Raman microscopy of these glass-ceramics supports the crystallization mechanisms determined by DSC.
