Church and most major Protestant denominations today have policies which permit their clergy, und... more Church and most major Protestant denominations today have policies which permit their clergy, under certain circumstances, to co -officiate with a rabbi at a Jewish-Christian intermarriage. Orthodox and Conservative rabbis are barred from officiating at mixed marriages by their rabbinical associations, and the majority o f Reform and Reconstructionist rabbis likewise decline to officiate. O f those rabbis who do officiate at mixed marriages, the majority will not coofficiate with non-Jewish clergy.
