บทความวจยน ไดทำการการเปรยบเทยบชนดแผนดดซบความรอนอลมเนยมและสงกะสทจมนำทมผลตอประสทธภาพของเครองกลนนำพล... more บทความวจยน ไดทำการการเปรยบเทยบชนดแผนดดซบความรอนอลมเนยมและสงกะสทจมนำทมผลตอประสทธภาพของเครองกลนนำพลงงานแสงอาทตยแบบขนบนไดกระจกสองชนเอยงดานเดยว โดยไดทำการทดลองเปรยบเทยบชนดแผนดดซบความรอนทงสองชนด โดยวางไวในนำชนทสองของเครองกลนนำ ในการทดลองไดเปลยนขนาดของแผนอลมเนยมและแผนสงกะสจากขนาด 4-8 m2 ของพนทผวนำชนสอง จากนนไดทำการวดปรมาณนำกลนทไดและคำนวณหาประสทธภาพของเครองกลนนำ พบวาแผนอลมเนยมและ แผนสงกะสขนาด 4 m2 ไดปรมาณนำกลนมากทสดเทากบ 1,629 ml/day และ 1,506 ml/day มประสทธภาพเฉลยสะสมตลอดทงวนมคาเทากบ 26.11% และ 25.56% นอกจากนยงพบวาแผนอลมเนยมและแผนสงกะสขนาด 8 m2 ไดปรมาณนำกลนนอยทสดเทากบ 1,461 ml/day และ 1,369 ml/day มประสทธภาพเฉลยสะสมตลอดทงวนมคาเทากบ 22.95% และ 22.52% ซงเมอเปรยบเทยบชนดแผนดดซบความรอนทงสองแลว พบวาแผนอลมเนยมมประสทธภาพดกวาแผนสงกะสเนองจากมคาความรอนทสงกวา และพบวาประสทธภาพของเครองกลนนำมคาลดลงเมอขนาดแผนอลมเนยมและแผนสงกะสเพมมากขน โดยพนทของแผนดดซบความรอนทมพนทนอยจะทำใหเครองกลนนำมประสทธภาพสงกวา เนองจากแผนดดซบความรอนทมพนทมากจะบดบงแสงอาทตยทจะสงผานความรอนไปยงชนทหนงของเครองกลนนำทำใหประสทธภาพของเครองกลนนำล...

Calcium oxide catalysts prepared from golden apple cherry snail shell (Pomacea canaliculata) via ... more Calcium oxide catalysts prepared from golden apple cherry snail shell (Pomacea canaliculata) via two steps-deproteination and calcination-were compared: the structure was characterized by XRD and XRF and morphology by SEM. In addition, the effects of reaction time, catalyst loading amount, methanol:oil molar ratio and reaction temperature on the biodiesel yield were measured. The optimum conditions for biodiesel production, 0.8 wt% catalyst loading, 12:1 methanol:oil molar ratio, 65 OC reaction and 6 h reaction time, gave a biodiesel up to 95.2%. Moreover, the catalyst demonstrated high stability, permitting reuse for up to four cycles with biodiesel yield falling by only 4%.

The distilled water productivity of the effect of size of the heat absorber from aluminum on the ... more The distilled water productivity of the effect of size of the heat absorber from aluminum on the efficiency of double slope solar still. Aluminum was chosen to use as heat absorber and was put on the water surface in the second layer of the solar still. The size of aluminum used in the experiment has divided 9 sizes from 10% to 90% of the surface of the water in the second layer of the solar still. The condensed temperature water and efficiency of solar still were measured and calculated in the experiment. The result was showed that 10% of using the size in aluminum absorber has the maximum volume of condensed water is 1.6 liters / day and the efficiency is 26.34%. While the minimum efficiency is 17.29% with 90% of aluminum absorber sizing. The result was also revealed that the efficiency of solar still was decreased according to the increasing of the size at aluminum absorber.

This research article studied the experimental of the effect of water depth on the productivity o... more This research article studied the experimental of the effect of water depth on the productivity of double basin solar stills in seawater desalination. The experiment was carried out with the water depths at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 cm in order to obtain the appropriate water depth for purified water production during the day and at night and to analyze its efficiency. The study's results revealed that the basin single and double slope solar stills at the water depth of 1 cm produced the maximum purified water at 2,285 ml/day and 2,620 ml/day, respectively. During the day, the production rates of purified water were 1,628 ml/day and 1,869 ml/day. At night, the production rates were 657 ml/day and 751 ml/day, respectively. The efficiency was 24.46% and 28.04%. However, at the water depth of 5 cm, the lowest purified water production rates were 1,044 ml/day and 1,389 ml/day. During the day, the production rates were 744 ml/day and 989 ml/day while at night it was produced 300 ml/day and 400 ml/day, respectively. The efficiency was 11.42% and 15.19%. The lower water depth provides better productivity than the higher water depth since the surface of water is less, so it is able to accumulate higher thermal energy obtained from the transmission of heat from the sun until it reaches the latent heat of vaporization and it evaporates into the glass surface. Then the condensation is fast made, so it provides a long period of desalination. This results in more production rate.

The objectives of this research were to design and develop palm seed separating machine and palm ... more The objectives of this research were to design and develop palm seed separating machine and palm oil pressing machine. According to the design of a grille for separating palm seed, the diameter of the grille was 39.2 cm. The diameter of the hole of the grille was 1.5 cm in diameter. The 4×4 cm steel tube was used to construct the structure of the machine. The machine was 70 cm wide, 70 cm long and 70 cm high. The tank for conveying palm seeds was made of sheet steel which was rolled into the cylinder with 40 cm in diameter and 40 cm high. There were two exits at both sides. The separating rack was attached to the shaft. The shaft assembled with the grille was made by turning it to the thread in order to be able to assemble to the grille. The V-B54 belt was responsible for sending power from the motor to the grille. There were 4 sizes the pulley used for speed test; 2, 3, 4, and 6 in.
