This paper develops the design aspects of DC-DC Boost Converter in solar Photovoltaic (PV) system... more This paper develops the design aspects of DC-DC Boost Converter in solar Photovoltaic (PV) system using Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Algorithm. The amount of electric power generated by PV module is always varying with irradiation of Sun. MPPT algorithms has led to the increase in the efficiency of operation of the solar modules. By changing the duty cycle of the converter the load impedance as seen by the source is varied and matched at the point of the peak power with the source so as to transfer the maximum power.
