"Narrative Structures of Drupadi Perempuan Poliandris Novel by Seno Gumira Ajidarma: Greimas A.J.'s perspective". Undergraduate Thesis. Indonesian Literature Study Program. Faculty of Literature. Sanata Dharma University. This research analyzes the narrative structures in Drupadi Perempuan Poliandris novel based on Greimas A.J.'s perspective. The objectives of this research are to describe the structures of the actual schema in Drupadi Perempuan Poliandris novel, to describe the functional structures in Drupadi Perempuan Poliandris novel, and to describe the semantic axis in Drupadi Perempuan Poliandris novel. This research used Abrams' paradigm with an objective approach. This research used narratological theory by Greimas A.J. which involves the actual schematic structure, functional structure, and semantic axis. The data collection method used was literature review. The formal method (structure) was chosen as data analysis method. The results of data analysis were presented using a qualitative descriptive. There were three structures that found in this research, namely actual schematic structure, functional structure, and semantic axis. Based on the results, there were seven sequences that would be analyzed using actual structure, functional structure, and semantic axis, namely (1) Drupadi Competition, (2) Dice Performance, (3) Devotion, (4) Kichaka Falls In Love with Sarindhri, (5) Baratayuda War, (6) The fall of Professor Dorna, and (7) Yoga of Deconstruction and Soul Union. The seven sequences had different roles and functions as well as explained Drupadi's role in each actual structure. On the functional structures, the seven sequences had the same plots such as exile, life learning, competition, and revenge. On the semantic axis, the seven sequences had the several purposes on the story cannot be done. Through the semantic axis, gender inequality was found in Drupadi figures. Those inequalities were experienced which Drupadi as the object of bet, ownership, and subordinate images.
