The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, le... more The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, learning orientation, strategic improvisation and performance of small-medium enterprises (SMEs). Based on the theoretical consideration, a model was proposed to examine these relationships. Quantitative survey method was used and data were collected from the owner/managers who were randomly selected from a sampling frame of registered SMEs. A total of 368 usable responses were received from a total of 1920 distributed questionnaires, giving a response rate of 19.2 percent. Partial Least Square (PLS) structural equation modelling (PLS version 2) was used for the data analysis. This study aims to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation dimensions cons... more This study aims to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation dimensions consist of innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk taking and SME performance. The study also seeks to determine whether knowledge management play a role as a mediator between entrepreneurial orientation and SME performance. The sample were 368 managers/owners of SMEs. Questionnaires adapted from previous research were used to measure the entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management and SME performance. SEM-PLS 3.0 were employed in this study. The findings revealed innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk taking has significant influence on SME performance. Moreover the study also indicates that knowledge management play role as a mediator entrepreneurial orientation and SME performance.

The purpose of this paper was to examine the influence of personality traits (agreeableness, cons... more The purpose of this paper was to examine the influence of personality traits (agreeableness, conscientious, neuroticism, openness and extraversion) on entrepreneurial intention and to assess the mediating role of educational support on the relationships between personality traits and entrepreneurial intention. A total of 1000 students at Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan (UiTMCK) were randomly selected. Questionnaire was distributed to various faculties such as the Faculty of Business & Management, Faculty of Accountancy, Faculty of Computer & Mathematical Science, and Faculty of Information Management and Art & Design. A total of 800 responses were collected and 753 of the responses were useable for the final analysis using the structural equation model partial least square (SEM-PLS 3.0). This study attempts to identify consumer ethnocentrism among government servants in Kota Bharu, K... more This study attempts to identify consumer ethnocentrism among government servants in Kota Bharu, Kelantan when buying automobile. The objectives of this study are to identify the level of ethnocentrism among the samples and investigate whether products, prices, dealers, promotions and personal factors have an impact on consumer ethnocentrism in buying automobiles and to assess personal relationship with level of ethnocentrism . The research tool used was in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the responses from respondents, it can be concluded that the level of ethnocentrism among respondents is low. This study revealed that factors influencing consumer ethnocentrism among government servants in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, were products, prices and promotions. To test the relationship between personal and ethnocentrism, Pearson-Chi square was used and the analysis revealed a significant relationship between age and level of education with ethnocentrism in choosing automobiles.
The aim of this research is to determine the effect of knowledge management and entrepreneurial o... more The aim of this research is to determine the effect of knowledge management and entrepreneurial orientation on performance of small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia.The study also seeks to examine the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation on the knowledge management and SME performance relationship. Data were collected by means of a mail survey questionnaire completed by the owner/managers who were randomly selected from a sampling frame of registered SMEs.A total of 115 usable responses were received.The findings reveal that significant relationships exist between knowledge management and performance, and also between entrepreneurial orientation and performance, while entrepreneurial orientation was found to partially mediate the relationship between knowledge management and performance.

The objective of this paper is first to investigate students’ perception on the accounting subjec... more The objective of this paper is first to investigate students’ perception on the accounting subject and how the perceptions influence their approaches in learning. In addition, this study investigates students’ perceptions on the role of mobile-app technology in their approaches of accounting learning. Based on the self-administered structured questionnaire developed and distributed to 153 respondents that comprised of non-accountings students from all branches of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia, the results find that there is significant relationship between students’ perceptions on accounting and their approaches in learning which further indicate that positive perceptions lead to deep approaches in learning accounting, meanwhile negative perceptions lead to surface approaches of learning.
