Podvodne nerazorne metode i tehnike predstavljaju važan alat u osiguranju sigurnosti i integritet... more Podvodne nerazorne metode i tehnike predstavljaju važan alat u osiguranju sigurnosti i integriteta podvodnih zavarenih konstrukcija podložnih strogim sigurnosnim regulativama. Tijekom zadnjeg desetljeca uocljiv je utjecaj koncepta rizika na pristup kontroli bez razaranja, kako tijekom izgradnje tako i u eksploataciji, posebice pomorskih konstrukcija. Sukladno tome, sinergijska povezanost funkcije održavanja s ispitivanjima temeljenim na procjeni rizika, zajedno s pripadajucom analizom pouzdanosti ispitivanja, predstavlja temelj za planiranje i provedbu ispitivanja, odnosno kontrole bez razaranja. Razumijevanjem pouzdanosti ispitivanja moguce je odrediti razinu povjerenja i znacajnost rezultata ispitivanja. Također je moguce unaprijediti provedbu i ucinkovitost samog ispitivanja. Tvrtke koje posluju i djeluju u industriji kriticnoj s aspekta sigurnosti kao sto je proizvodnja ... more Tvrtke koje posluju i djeluju u industriji kriticnoj s aspekta sigurnosti kao sto je proizvodnja nafte i plina imaju potrebe za mnogo specificnijim sustavom upravljanja kvalitetom od onog definiranog normom ISO 9001:2008. Sadasnji opceprihvaceni standard sustava upravljanja kvalitetom ISO 9001:2008 koji je prihvacen sirom svijeta treba zadovoljiti potrebe i zahtjeve tvrtki razlicitih djelatnosti sto zbog specificnosti djelatnosti nije uvijek lako. Stoga je uspostavljena norma ISO/TS 29001:2010 kao rezultat direktne suradnje između organizacije ISO (Internatioanl organization for Standardization) i industrije nafte i plina. Norma ISO/TS 29001.2010 predstavlja prosirenje sveobuhvatno prihvacene norme ISO 9001:2008 za sustave upravljanja kvalitetom, prvenstveno u dodatnim zahtjevima s aspekta prevencija nesukladnosti i smanjenja varijacija u realizaciji proizvoda, odnosno izvođenju procesa. The coining process can be identified as a shallow die forging. By using this process, it is poss... more The coining process can be identified as a shallow die forging. By using this process, it is possible to produce very fine surface geometries. This leads to dimension scaling into micro dimensions and causes the specific material behavior. In the micro area, continuum laws are not strictly followed anymore. The leading role in determining the deformation and strain level is taken by the fine surface geometry dimension and the size of the crystalline grain of the workpiece material. This is known as the size effect and defines all micro‐forming processes. In order to provide monitoring of the filling of the smallest die dimensions, additional supporting procedures should be used. In this case, radiography testing procedures for observing the specific points of the workpiece geometry are applied, characterized with very small dimensions (less than 0.5 mm). In the present experimental research, it has been investigated how the changes of ultrasound beam shape influence the disc size evaluation. It was investigated how three selected factors and their interactions affect the disc size evaluation when probe frequencies are changing what is in correlation with changing the ultrasound beam shape. The experiment revealed that different factors and their interactions are significant for disc size evaluation.

Ultrazvuk je kao i zvuk mehanicka vibracija u krutom ili tekucem mediju, a obuhvaca frekvencije v... more Ultrazvuk je kao i zvuk mehanicka vibracija u krutom ili tekucem mediju, a obuhvaca frekvencije vece od 20 kHz. Djelovanje ultrazvuka koristi se u razlicitim industrijama, a znacajno mjesto zauzima i u prehrambenoj tehnologiji, i to kao kao analiticka metoda, a u zadnje vrijeme sve vise i kao nova tehnika obrade koja u velikoj mjeri utjece na fi zikalno-kemijska svojstva hrane. Ultrazvuk se može podijeliti na ultrazvuk niskog intenziteta ( 1 Wcm-2). Ultrazvuk visokog intenziteta se koristi za unaprjeđenje, poboljsanje ili mijenjanje fi zikalno kemijskih svojstava hrane tijekom procesa proizvodnje. Primjena ultrazvuka niskog intenziteta se odnosi na nerazorno ispitivanje određenih svojstava sastojaka hrane, ali i gotovih prehrambenih proizvoda kao sto su struktura, protok, debljina, kemijski sastav, velicina cestica ili prisustvo stranih tijela. Watermarks and paper structure are significant properties of historical documents that allow hist... more Watermarks and paper structure are significant properties of historical documents that allow historians and restorers possibility of dating where and when a particular paper was produced. Because of the document content (text, graphics etc.), it is sometimes difficult or even impossible to determine the layout of the watermark and paper structure using only light transmission technique. In that case, radiography can be used as an alternative method. In this paper the possibilities of using computer radiography (CR) for watermark extraction and paper structure characterization as well as advantages and disadvantages over conventional film radiography are discussed. Optimization of CR radiographic parameters (selection of imaging plates and radiation sources) for low-voltage X-ray and electron transmission technique was conducted and the results were compared to light transmission technique findings.
Veliki broj off-shore objekata nalazi se u eksploataciji vise desetljeca, te su zahtjevi za kontr... more Veliki broj off-shore objekata nalazi se u eksploataciji vise desetljeca, te su zahtjevi za kontrolnim pregledima i održavanjem sve stroži. Iako postoji niz tehnika podvodnog ispitivanja koje daju dobar uvid u stanje podvodne konstrukcije, problem je u tome sto su one lokalnog karaktera. Međutim, pomocu FMD (Flooded Member Detection) tehnike se vrlo brzo može procijeniti stanje pojedinog konstrukcijskog elementa na nacin da se detektira prisustvo vode u istom. Time se znacajno ubrzava pregled integriteta podvodnog dijela konstrukcije, koji inace nosi znacajne troskove. U radu su opisane osnove nerazornog ispitivanja FMD tehnikom, nacini provedbe u praksi kao i aktivnosti razvoja ispitnog sustava za FMD tehniku ispitivanja u Laboratoriju za zavarivanje i Laboratoriju za nerazorna ispitivanja, Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje Sveucilista u Zagrebu.

Veliki broj off-shore objekata nalazi se u eksploataciji vise desetljeca, te su zahtjevi za kontr... more Veliki broj off-shore objekata nalazi se u eksploataciji vise desetljeca, te su zahtjevi za kontrolnim pregledima i održavanjem sve stroži. Iako postoji niz tehnika podvodnog ispitivanja koje daju dobar uvid u stanje podvodne konstrukcije, problem je u tome sto su one lokalnog karaktera. Međutim, pomocu FMD (Flooded Member Detection) tehnike se vrlo brzo može procijeniti stanje pojedinog konstrukcijskog elementa na nacin da se detektira prisustvo vode u istom.
