A set course can be obtained through this new algorithm and the steering of the unmanned survey ship will be worked out by closed-loop control. In test system, the location of the ship is obtained by GPS, and the error of electric steering gear angle controls PWM pulse signal, which drives servo motor by power amplifying device, thus making the electric steering gear to turn as expected. Communication between upper and lower computer is realized by C language and serial port communication, so as to get parameter information and track images of the ship in a real-time manner. The result shows that the new navigational algorithm more efficient and precise, and can be widely used in fairway surveying engineering.

Research paper thumbnail of Quantitative Phase Retrieval Through Scattering Medium via Compressive Sensing

IEEE Photonics Journal, 2022

Scattering media, such as biological tissues and turbid liquids, scatter light randomly and intro... more Scattering media, such as biological tissues and turbid liquids, scatter light randomly and introduce several challenges when imaging objects behind them. The transmission matrix (TM) describes the relation between the input and output of a beam transmitted through a medium, which can be used to reconstruct a target located behind a scattering medium. However, the current TM methods cannot easily retrieve the phase distribution of objects inside or behind a scattering medium. In this work, a compressive sensing (CS) method to identify the TM of a scatter contained in an imaging system was investigated. By calibrating the TM, the phase information of the object can be retrieved quantitatively. This method allows one to retrieve multilevel and dynamic phase objects behind different scatters. The influence of the calibration parameters on the reconstruction quality was investigated in detail. The proposed method, featuring noninterference measurements of the TM and exploiting a large field of view, can be used in phase imaging applications. Index Terms-Imaging through scattering media, phase retrieval, transmission matrix, compressive sensing. I. INTRODUCTION R ESEARCH on focusing and imaging through a scattering medium has recently triggered substantial interest [1]-[3] due to its important applications in biomedical imaging, fire rescue, micromanipulation, etc. [4]-[7]. With the assistance of a compressed blind deconvolution and denoising (CBDD) algorithm, the noise and blurring incurred during CBS imaging can be further removed. However, this approach requires double scanning and large computational cost. Here, we propose a deep learning-based method for LSFM, which can reconstruct high-quality images directly from the conventional Bessel beam (BB) light-sheet via a single scan. The image quality achievable with this CBS-Deep method is competitive with or better than the CBS-CBDD method, while the speed of image reconstruction is about 100 times faster. Accordingly, the proposed method can significantly improve the practicality of the CBS-CBDD system by reducing both scanning behavior and reconstruction time. The results show that this cost-effective and convenient method enables high-quality LSFM techniques to be developed and applied.

In this paper, a method for producing an annular beam by a system consisting of a single axicon and a pair of lens is proposed. The generated beam was also used as the optical tweezers. We use the geometrical optics to describe the propagation of light in the system. The calculated intensity distribution in three-dimensional space after the system shows a good agreement with the experimental results. The advantages of this method are simplicity of operation, good stability, and high transmittance, having possible applications in fields like optical microscopic, optical manipulation and electronic acceleration, etc.

These beams can travel along a desired trajectory while keeping an approximately invariant transverse profile, which may be (higher-order) Bessel-, Mathieu- or parabolic-nondiffracting-like beams, depending on the initial complex amplitude distribution. A possible application of these beams presented here may be found in optical trapping field. For example, a higher-order Bessel-like beam, which has a hollow (transverse) pattern, is suitable for guiding low-refractive-index or metal particles along a curve.

The oxide films were hydrothermally heated at 150°C for 2h. The morphology of samples were characterized by SEM/EDS. The phase compositions were examined by TF-XRD. The corrosion resistance of the coatings was evaluated by electrochemical methods in Hank’s solution. The MAO films displayed porous and rough structure and were mainly composed of MgO and MgAl2O4. After hydrothermal treatment, a dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) coating formed on the oxide film. The corrosion resistance of the MAO film and DCPD coating was increased by about 12 and 40 times higher than that of bare magnesium alloy.

Each single wavelength hologram is extracted from the color CCD recorded hologram at one exposure, and the unwrapped phase image of object can be reconstructed directly. Different from the traditional multiple wavelength phase unwrapping techniques, any single complex wave-fronts at different wavelengths have no need to be calculated any more. Thus, the phase retrieval is computationally fast and straightforward, and the limitations on the total optical path difference are significantly relaxed. The practicability of the proposed method is demonstrated by both simulated and experimental results.

In this paper, we propose a scheme for spatial resolution enhancement of DHM by using the structured illumination but without phase shifting. The structured illuminations of different directions, which are generated by a spatial light modulator, illuminate the sample sequentially in the object plane. After the object waves are reconstructed numerically, a synthetic aperture is performed by an iterative algorithm to enhance the spatial resolution. The resolution improvement of the proposed method is proved and demonstrated by both simulation and experiment.
