The C. sixsensesensis easily gets confused with C. newmanii Škorničk. in compact rhizome; short lateral inflorescence composing of a few bracts; white corolla lobes and lateral staminodes; white labellum with a yellow mid-rid band but readily distinguished in rhomboid lateral staminodes (vs. obovate) with apex acuminated (vs. rounded); labellum 3-lobed (vs. emarginated), a mid-rid band being yellow at apex half, white at the base (vs. yellow throughout); anther crest presented (vs. reduced); oblong (lightly arching) (vs. L-shaped) anther in side view with slender and inward-pointing (vs. stout and outward-facing) spurs. So far, to our best knowledge, no study has applied the SLF to examine the influence of land quality on land use intensively. The current research examines the effects of land quality on farmers' decision-making on land use in Vietnam by modifying the sustainable livelihoods framework and using the fixed effects regression model. The method controlled the household and commune-level unobserved invariant characteristics and resulted in more robust estimates than pooled Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation. The sample is a five-wave panel dataset of 2008-2016 with 1,534 farm households. The results reveal that land quality affects land-use choices through several aspects of land quality. More specifically, regarding topography, plot fertility level, plot locations, and soil and water conservation, results show that their effects reflect the cultivating practices for each land-use type in the sample. Findings also show that the irrigation system positively affects rice production in Vietnam. Policymakers should consider various aspects of land quality when designing policies and programs relating to land use, irrigation distribution, and especially the master plan for agricultural production and rural development. Flexible guidance for land uses of each type is closely connected with land quality in each region that may be most suitable for sustainable agriculture development.

The designed electrodes firstly were prepared via photolithography technique, then the polymer was thermally broken-down into carbon skeletons in an oxygen-free environment using pyrolysis technique. The effect of the highest temperature and ramping rate on the electrical properties of the carbon films were investigated. The results show that the pyrolysis process was optimal at the ramping rate of 3˚C/minute, annealing temperature of 900˚C, and annealing time of one hour. The lowest resistivity was obtained at 6.3 × 10 −5 Ωm for pyrolytic films prepared at the optimal pyrolysis conditions. Electrochemical measurements confirm the potential of this electrode for electrochemical sensing applications.

In this task, the result is not produced in terms of either polarity: positive or negative or in the form of rating (from 1 to 5) but of a more detailed level of analysis in which the results are depicted in more expressions like sadness, enjoyment, anger, disgust, fear and surprise. Emotion recognition plays a critical role in measuring brand value of a product by recognizing specific emotions of customers' comments. In this study, we have achieved two targets. First and foremost, we built a standard Vietnamese Social Media Emotion Corpus (UIT-VSMEC) with exactly 6,927 emotionannotated sentences, contributing to emotion recognition research in Vietnamese which is a low-resource language in natural language processing (NLP). Secondly, we assessed and measured machine learning and deep neural network models on our UIT-VSMEC corpus. As a result, the CNN model achieved the highest performance with the weighted F1-score of 59.74%. Our corpus is available at our research website 1 .

Based on the theory of planned behavior, in conjunction with some other factors, including facilitating conditions and perceived autonomy, this study investigated a model explaining the continued intention of mathematics teachers to use Realistic Mathematics Education. A structural equation model was used to access data from an online survey involving 500 secondary school mathematics teachers in Vietnam. The results revealed that while attitude, perceived behavioral control and perceived autonomy have positive significant impacts on intention to use RME, it appears that subjective norms and facilitating conditions do not. These findings are of significance to stakeholders, including policymakers, school managers, and mathematics teachers.

This paper aims to understand the dynamics of flood adaptation in Ho Chi Minh City, which has been dealing with such issues for years due to its topography and ongoing urbanization-induced land subsidence. The results suggest that adaptation is reactive to the flooding – creating inconvenience to people's lives and focusing on a hard measures approach. Despite the high exposure to increased risks in the future, a large proportion of the population surveyed is unaware of sea-level rise and land subsidence in the area. Social conflicts regarding the interaction between formal and informal adaptation suggest the decoupling of the process at different levels and a lack of communication between the government and local communities. This case study, showing examples of reactive and decoupled formal and informal adaptation, can provide insights and lessons for vulnerable coastal cities elsewhere on the planet on how to adapt to sea level rise.

During the past decade, about 90 species new to science were discovered and described, mainly from southern China, Vietnam, and Laos. With its diversity in flower morphology Aspidistra is among the most spectacular genera of Monocotyledons. Vietnam turned out to be especially rich in Aspidistra species (Tillich 2014), and at, least 30 additional species were discovered and described recently in this country (Averyanov & Tillich 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, Leong-Skornickova et al. 2014, Vislobokov et al. 2014a, b, 2016a, b, 2017, Vislobokov 2015, 2016, Olivier 2015, Averyanov et al. 2016, 2017, 2018a, b, Nguyen et al. 2017, Tillich et al. 2017, Tillich & Averyanov 2018). Meanwhile, the diversity of the genus in Vietnam remains insufficiently inventoried. Below we describe three more new species from central Vietnam.

Other fields have increased significantly, such as: Ship repair reached VND 488.3 billion, equal to 125% of the plan; supporting industry reached VND 264.5 billion, equal to 123% of the plan. Although shipbuilding has not reached the plan, but looking back on the period from 2008 to now, this field is always in a situation of hardship and bottomless decline because of lack of jobs, these are quite satisfactory numbers. The cause of the decline is due to the world shipping and shipbuilding industry has experienced an extremely difficult period due to the heavy influence of the world economic crisis from 2008 up to now. The Vietnamese shipbuilding and shipping industry is also not out of that situation. For the shipbuilding industry to develop, specific policies, with specific support addresses, are needed, which are well-designed and vision...
