The reason behind choosing the technique is to avoid clusters and non-homogenous dispersion which allows perfect mixing of reinforcement and the base metal. By varying the percentage of the reinforcement in the base metal matrix, the composite was casted and the samples were prepared, by simple turning process for subjected to various tests to determine the mechanical properties. The reinforcements i.e. Titanium Dioxide, Silicon Carbide and Zinc Chloride weight percent of pure, 1 %, 2% and 3 % resulted in increasing ultimate tensile strength and average hardness with increasing concentration of reinforcement, while the Density decreased with the increasing composition of reinforcement. Hence, it can be concluded that as the percentage of Reinforcement increases the properties show enrichment due to the development of strong bonding between the particles of reinforcement and the base matrix

Te aluminum matrix material are reinforced with diferent weight percentage of HNT (3%, 5%, and 7%) and BN (2%, 3%, and 4%). Te hybrid matrix are fabricated through the sir casting technique. Te prediction of process parameter are optimized using Taguchi assisted grey relation analysis. Also the ANN model is developed to predict the output parameter. Trough Taguchi S/N ratio method the efect of each control parameters are optimized. Te results show that the weight percentage of HNT and feed rate are the most infuencing parameters which afect the drilling of developed aluminum composites. Te GRA results show that the optimum parameters are 3% of HNT, 4% of BN, 500 rpm drilling speed, and 20 mm/min in combination, which has minimum surface roughness, lower temperature, highest cutting force, and highest material removal rate.

TiC particles are taken in different weight percentages (5%, 10%, and 15%), and graphite was chosen as (3%, 4%, and 5%) along with three different levels of sliding speed, applied load, and sliding velocity. The fabrication was conducted using stir casting equipment, and the experiments were done using Taguchi’s L27 orthogonal array. The Taguchi and ANOVA results applied load and percentage of TiC are the most influencing parameters which influences wear loss and friction coefficient

This is mainly due to their applicable benefits have they offer low density, low cost, environmentally harmless and also comparable mechanical properties with synthetic fiber composites. In this project carbon fiber/ glass hybrid laminates and carbon/sisal/glass hybrid composite laminates were obtained by vacuum bag molding process. The effect of fiber orientation and properties are studied. The composites were cut into pieces as per ASTM standards for different observations deals with the testing of tensile, flexural strength and impact test on a universal testing machine. The graphs and resultant values are obtained from the tests. The properties of carbon/sisal/glass and carbon fiber/ glass are compared. The carbon fiber/ glass laminates exhibit higher mechanical properties. Hence, the high performance hybrid laminated materials has extensive engineering applications such as naval, aeronautical, a...

In order to expand its usages and advantages further, investigation was carried on Surface Roughness of Al7050 metal matrix reinforced with Titanium Carbide (4, 8, 12% wt) and Boron Nitride (2, 3, 4% wt) fabricated through compo-casting process. Milling operation was performed on Al7050 (TiC/BN) composite as work piece and the effect of speed (500 – 1500 rpm) and feed rate (100 – 300 mm/min) on surface roughness was measured using potable surface roughness tester. The ANOVA results reveal that TiC has high substantial influence on surface roughness followed by speed of cut and feed rate while BN has less significance. The relationship between process parameters and surface roughness is established through regression equation developed using Minitab 13.

Composite materials are as a rule progressively utilized in different applications like space, flying machine, marine, building and car division on account of their predominant physical and mechanical properties despite the fact that they are somewhat expensive. Composite materials have used for material framework in view of their remarkable execution in different specific applications. Fibre incorporation and the heterogeneous property of composites make it increasingly hard to machine with the customary machining process. Be that as it may, a few nonconventional strategies have been received for machining composites, in which Abrasive Water Jet Machining (AWJM) was demonstrated to be increasingly compelling and an ideal procedure in machining of fibre-strengthened composite material. This article is planned to feature and classify the machining execution...

The rudimentary properties of Al7050 can be improved with the addition of appropriate reinforcing materials to further increase in its adaptability as various structural components. Extensive research is being carried out using different forms (metallic, non-metallic and organic compounds) of reinforcing materials to obtain suitable Aluminium metal matrix composites (AMMC) for specific applications. This review aims to provide an overview of two different reinforcement materials viz., Graphene and Silica utilized in Al7050 MMC and elaborates on the change in characteristics of the composite due to reinforcement inclusion.

Usually it is characterized by being a benign, solitary, slow growing lesion and associated with solar exposure but here we discuss a case of 50 years old male from Australia, who had multiple pigmented and violaceous lesions on the back which he had noticed for 5 years. The cases of multiple lesions are reported few in the literature. The lesions had characteristic clinical dermatoscopic feature showing typical violaceous lesions with widespread shiny white structure without any vessels. Histopathology revealed band like proliferation of blood vessels involving superficial dermis arranged horizontally parallel to the epidermisalong with elastosis in dermis.Treatment was done through surgical excision with no relapse reported.
