Japan's semiconductor industries have developed greatly in recent years. Many were started fr... more Japan's semiconductor industries have developed greatly in recent years. Many were started from a Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that found at a good circumstance and now become the prosperous industries in the world. Sustainable growth factors that support the creation of spirit value inside the Japanese company were strongly embedded through performance. Those factors were not clearly defined among each company. A series of literature research conducted to explore quantitative text mining about the definition of sustainable growth factors. Sustainable criteria were developed from previous research to verify the definition of the factors. A typical frame work was proposed as a systematical approach to develop sustainable growth factor in a specific company. Result of approach was review in certain period shows that factors influenced in sustainable growth was importance for the company to achieve the goal.

In the square tube subjected to the bending load, the rigidity of the entire square tube is reduc... more In the square tube subjected to the bending load, the rigidity of the entire square tube is reduced when a collapse occurs due to local stress concentration. Therefore, in this research, the influence of bending load on the square tube with attached energy absorbing part was examined and reported. The analysis was conducted by using Finite Element Method (FEM) to produced bending deflection and buckling points. Energy absorption was compared from rigidity of attached part and square tube body. Buckling point was influenced by the rigidity of attached part and the thickness rate of square tube.

Product development is a big issue in the industrial competition and takes a serious part in deve... more Product development is a big issue in the industrial competition and takes a serious part in development of technology. Product development process could adapt high changes of market needs and transform into engineering concept in order to produce high-quality product. One of the latest methods in product development is Analysis-Led-Design (ALD). It utilizes digital engineering design tools with finite analysis to perform product robust analysis and valuable for product reliability assurance. Heavy machinery which operates under severe condition should maintain safety to the customer when faced with potential hazard. Cab frame should able to absorb the energy while collision. Through ALD, a series of improvement of cab frame to increase energy absorption was made and analyzed. Improvement was made by modifying shapes of frame and-or install absorption device in certain areas. Simulation result showed that install absorption device could increase absorption energy than modifying shape.

This may lead to serious injured tooperator. Cab frame usually intended to protect from rollover accident. In this study we perform a simple square model of cabframe using finite element method according to design experiment of Taguchi’s method. Cab frame was assembled from severalbars, named A-K. Some factors were combined to investigate its influence on energy absorption during rollover. Two designexperiments were developed to obtain effect of each factor and to reduce time and complexity of combination model rather thanperform single design experiment. First, combination factor of thickness of each bar. Second, combination factor of width, height,distance of bar H, and distance of bar F. The print quality of an inkjet printer is determined by the quality of the droplets. The droplet ... more The print quality of an inkjet printer is determined by the quality of the droplets. The droplet quality of a DoD inkjet printer is affected by speed variation between the droplets that generated from different nozzles. The effectiveness of a preliminary vibration using the W waveform design to generate spherical droplet without satellite and ligament has been denoted from previous studies. The waveform design considered to influence the speed variations of droplet. The standard deviation of droplet speed from different waveform design was investigate and evaluated. In this study, it is evidenced that by performing rear-wave adjustment on the W wave design can effectively reduce the standard deviation of droplet speed and produce the highest average speed.

Abstrak Kebutuhan gula semakin meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan peningkat... more Abstrak Kebutuhan gula semakin meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, Untuk memproduksi gula dalam jumlah yang banyak, diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat membantu dan mempercepat proses produksi tersebut yakni mesin. Proses produksi gula melalui lima unit stasiun , yaitu stasiun gilingan, stasiun pemurnian, stasiun penguapan, stasiun kristalisasi dan stasiun penyelesaian. Dari kelima unit stasiun tersebut, stasiun gilingan pada Pabrik Gula Lestari Kertosono diketahui memiliki downtime yang paling tinggi. Stasiun gilingan merupakan stasiun awal yang memiliki peran yang sangat penting karena jika stasiun gilingan sebagai stasiun awal yang memproses tebu mengalami kerusakan, maka proses produksi gula akan mengalami waktu proses yang lebih lama atau bahkan dapat mengakibatkan proses produksi gula terhenti. Rollover is a fatal condition where the equipment shifted from its stability and move toward the ground. Consequently, the use of a rollover protecting structure or cab frame as a standard safety was an effort to protect operator from the accident. Numerical approach using finite element method generated a simple square of cab frame combined with design experiment of Taguchi’s orthogonal array. A set of 11 single bars compiled into entire cab frame where each bar has 2 thickness levels and total 12 simulations were required. Furthermore, every simulation compares each other to produce the highest energy absorption during collision. Finally, the highest result then optimized using Taguchi’s control chart. One of the operational issues that are generally encountered on the print-head performance is res... more One of the operational issues that are generally encountered on the print-head performance is residual vibration. For good performance of droplet, the satellite and ligament of an ink droplet must be suppressed during the jetting process. It was proved that the suppressing vibration is viable to control the droplet's speed and volume. Two kinds of suppressing vibration with front and back position of suppressing pulse from the main pulse were investigated. The suppressing vibration was proved to be an effective way of damping the residual vibration and reducing the droplet volume and speed. By analyzing two types of actuation waveforms effect on droplet quality, this paper analyzes the distinctive effect of front and back suppressing vibration on droplet quality.
