The study of the photolysis concerned three aspects namely the direct photolysis, photolysis catalyzed first using TiO 2 and the coupling TiO 2 /H 2 O 2 as catalysts . Photolysis experiments were carried out under different lamps ʎ = 253.7 nm and ʎ ≥ 285nm. Experiences catalyzed photolysis were performed ʎ ≥ 285 nm. The study showed that the degradation of simazine by direct photolysis is possible both with monochromatic light (254 nm) with a polychromatic light (λ≥ 285 nm). Photolysis is higher under monochromatic light ( λ = 254 nm). The experiments also showed that simazine degrades by photolysis catalyzed. The addition of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) greatly accelerated the degradation of simazine in the catalyzed compared photolysis. In all these studies, it appears that the reaction rate of degradation in the presence of TiO 2 and couple (TiO 2 /H 2 O 2 ) is much higher than the dire...

The active carbons are derived from the peanut shells of the subspecies hypogaea (Arachis hypogaea ssp.hypogaea) of the Virginia type derived from Mankono and subspecies fastigiata (Arachis hypogaea ssp. fastigiata) of the Spanish type from Kani. and Seguela. Peanut shells underwent pyrolysis preceded by chemical impregnation with orthophosphoric acid. The analysis of the results indicates that for the preparation of an optimal activated carbon from the Virginia sub-species hypogaea (Arachis hypogaea ssp. hypogaea) from Kani, an acid concentration of 30% are required and carbonization temperature at 600 ° C for 3 h. This active carbon, which has a predominantly acid surface (92.7% of the total surface area), has an ash content of 3.1%, a degree of activation of 24%, an iodine value of 955.04 mg / g and a surface area of 706.92...

The strong agricultural activity around it can lead to the dissipation of phytosanitary products into the environment. However, the transfer of pesticide residues from agricultural plots to this aquatic environment is little studied or even non-existent. The objective of this work is to determine the state of contamination of the Lobo River by phytosanitary products. The HPLC assays were carried out on water samples taken at the exit of the agricultural plots (upstream) and in the Lobo (downstream). These analyzes revealed the presence of residues of pesticides such as glyphosate, mancozeb 2,4-D and lambda-cyhalothrin at various concentrations. Indeed, at the exit of the agricultural plots (upstream) and in the Lobo (downstream), the average concentrations detected were respectively 0.89µg / L to 0.35 µg / L for glyphosate, 0.81µg / L at 0.38 µg / L for mancozeb, 0.5 µg / L at 0.39 µg / L for 2,4-D, and ...

Horizontal mobility of heavy metals in soil was performed by the Kruskal-Wallis test which was used to evaluate the heavy metals concentrations according to the upstream downstream disposition of soil sample sites. Then the Mann-Whitney test was applied to find if variances between upgradient and downgradient parameters concentrations in the soil sample sites were homogenous. The results show that the soil is rich in organic matter (organic carbon and organic nitrogen) with a basic pH (7.94 <pH <8.7), characteristic of the landfill leachate. Metals such as lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn) are retained by the organic matter while the other metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe) relative to migrate upstream to downstream. Thus, the flow of infiltration water into the soil...
