Extreme acceptable frequency distinction is ±0.5 Hz which is extremely intolerable. Here, LFC is observed by PID controller (PID-C), Fuzzy and ANFIS controller (ANFIS-C). To control different errors like frequency and area control error (ACE) in spite of occurrences of load disturbance and uncertainties of system is checked by MATLAB/SIMULINK software. Proposed Controller offers less, and small peak undershoot, speedy response to make final steady state. LFC is mandatory for reliability of large interconnected power system. LFC is used to regulate power output of generator within specified area to maintain system frequency and power interchange. Here, two area multi source LFC system is analyzed. ANFIS is utilized for tie-line power deviation and controlling frequency. Proposed controller is compared with other controller and it is found that proposed controller is better than other controller....

The concept of hole or electron in limited electroluminescence OLED devices has made it renowned in display technology. In dispay light emitted diode (LEDS) and liquid crystal diode (LCDS) are used but they have certain problem so we descoverd OLED to overcome the problem associated with them.

Load frequency control (LFC) is a primary challenging problem in an interconnected multi-area power system.Design/methodology/approachThis paper adopts lion algorithm (LA) for the LFC of two area multi-source interconnected power systems. The LA calculates the optimal gains of the fractional order PI (FOPI) controller and hence the proposed LA-based FOPI controller (LFOPI) is developed.FindingsFor the performance analysis, the proposed algorithm compared with various algorithm is given as, 80.6% lesser than the FOPI algorithm, 2.5% lesser than the GWO algorithm, 2.5% lesser than the HSA algorithm, 4.7% lesser than the BBO algorithm, 1.6% lesser than PSO algorithm and 80.6% lesser than the GA algorithm.Originality/valueThe LFOPI controller is the proposed controlling method, wh...

This paper presents the Fractional Order Proportional Integral (FOPI) controller for an interconnected two-area power system, wherein each area has multi-source power systems. The gains of the proposed controller are being optimized by Lion Algorithm (LA), utilizing an integral square error (ISE) criterion, to develop the proposed Lion with Levy Update-based FOPI controller (LLUFOPI). The proposed LA schedules the gain of the LLUFOPI controller by achieving the least possible error. Hence, the LLUFOPI controller assures better LFC in the two-area interconnected power system. The performance of the proposed controller is assessed by considering the practical constraints in power system such as Generation Rate Constraints (GRC), communication delay, AC/DC link, step load variation and Capacitive Energy Storage (CES) device. Finally, the simulation results show that the LLUFOPI con...

Consecutive patients presenting within 72 h of symptom onset with organ dysfunction and/or local complications were included. Following parameters were recorded: demographics, etiology, SIRS, APACHE II, creatinine, BUN. Circulating IL-8, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-alpha concentrations and expression of HLA-DR and IL-10 by qRT-PCR in PBMCs were measured. Strength of associations of cytokine concentration and HLA-DR/IL-10 expression with outcomes was expressed as Hedges' G and relative risk (95% CI). Twenty-eight patients (10 MSAP; 18 SAP) fulfilled inclusion criteria. Twelve patients had ESAP and eight presented with organ failure. Admission SIRS worsened in eight (28.6%) patients over 4...

A dead 5 years old male leopard (Panthera pardus) was brought from Rajaji National Park, Dehradun... more A dead 5 years old male leopard (Panthera pardus) was brought from Rajaji National Park, Dehradun to the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, G.B.P.U.A.&T., Pantnagar for postmortem examination. Microscopic examination of its intestinal contents revealed ova and oocysts of gastrointestinal helminths and parasitic protozoa, respectively. Examination of float revealed eggs of Toxascaris sp. and strongyle spp. Eggs of Paragonimus sp. and Opisthorchis sp. were present in the sediment. Adult parasites of Taenia taeniformis tapeworm were also recovered. Oocysts of Isospora spp. were also observed in the float. Further screening of the faecal samples of the wild felids of this National Park is needed so that both quantitative and qualitative estimation of the parasitic load of these big cats can be assessed.

Oral administration of plant extracts prevented the occurrence of lead nitrate induced liver damage. The decreased level of tissue enzymes, i.e., superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and increased level of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and acid phosphatase (ACP) were observed in mice treated with lead. Administration of aqueous stem extract (400 mg/kg body weight, orally) and aqueous leaves extract (400 mg/kg body weight, orally) along with the lead nitrate (5 mg/kg body weight, i.p. for 30 days) increased the activities of SOD and CAT and decreased the levels of AST, ALT, ALP, and ACP enzymes in mice. These biochemical observations were supplemented by histopathology/histological examinations of liver section. Results of this stud...

A total of 115 gastrointestinal tracts (GIT) from 61 growers and 54 adult pigs were examined between February 2005 and January 2006. Seventy eight (67.8%) had one or more helminth parasites, of which thirty six (31.3%) were mixed infection. Ten types of helminth parasites encountered

Materials and Methods: Gross as well as histopathological examination was conducted. The suspected tissues get processed by formalin fixation and paraffin embedding technique. Result: On gross examination, dry pox lesions were seen on the external body surface whereas no internal lesions were observed. However on histopathological examination, the keratin layer of the epidermis was found to be intact and there was extensive proliferation of subdermal connective tissue infiltrated with polymorph mononuclear (PMN) cells. There was marked ballooning of keratinocytes. Swollen keratinocytes had enlarged pleomorphic and hyper-chromatic nuclei. Several keratinocytes also showed presence of eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions (Bollinger bodies) which was considered confirmatory. Conclusion: Avipoxvirus infection was noticed in a jungle crow. On histopathological study, proliferation of subdermal connective tissue, swollen keratinocytes, pleomorphic and hyper-chromatic nucleus and eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions were noticed.
