The purpose of this paper is to report the clinical manifestations and endovascular management of a case of patient with neck malignancies and a history of radiotherapy. The patient underwent immediate covered stent deployment which resulted in the successful control of bleeding.

Despite what has been done in the last decades, we recommend a change from costbased to value-based diagnostic algorithms with patient/pathology-tailored protocols which could ultimately provide major economical and medical benefits. In this chapter we review the values and limitations of the imaging techniques available for the management of musculoskeletal disorders, by presenting some practical cases in which the appropriate and cost-effective approaches are discussed. 1 Introduction: Burden of Musculoskeletal Disorders Musculoskeletal (MSK) diseases are very prevalent and contribute more than any other group of disorders to functional limitations in the adult population in many countries (Woolf and Plefger 2003). They are a group of diseases with low mortality, but high morbidity, affecting the physical and mental health of the patient and its family. This problem has been recognized by the WHO, endorsing the first decade of the millennium as

However, intraoral location is very uncommon (only 1% of all head and neck schwannomas). We report a rare case of lingual schwannoma in a 20-year-old male patient who presented with a small, slow-growing mass over the right lateral border of the tongue with 1 year of evolution and that became recently ulcerated. The patient underwent MRI examination and complete surgical excision. Histopathological and immunohistochemical examination confirmed the diagnosis.
