JELENA MILOJKOVIC-DJURIC WAS BORN IN BELGRADE, YUGOSLAVIA, AND STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITIES OF BELGRADE, STOCKHOLM AND UPPSALA . SHE RECIEVD HER PHD AT THE UNIVERSITY IN BELGRADE IN 1981 SPECIALIZING IN CULTURAL HISTORY. HER BOOKS MENTION SHOULD BE MADE OF PANSLAVISM AND NATIONAL IDENTITY IN RUSSIA AND IN THE BALKANS 1830-1880. EAST EUROPEAN mONOGRAPHS , UNIVERISTY OF COLORADO AND COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY PRESS, NEW YORK 1994. THIS BOOK WAS A BEST SELLER AND STILL ADVERTIZED BY AMAZON. ALASO TRADITION AND AVANT-GARDE, TWO VOLUMES 1984 AND 1988.
