Normally in rotary condition, rotor position and speed estimation of IPMSM drive are drawn through an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) algorithm by measuring its voltages and currents of the stator. The main drawback in developing EKF is it may not proficient to consider the effect of electromagnetic noise which is mainly produced during the time of different speed ranges. Owing to this reason this may cause to vary the motor flux linkages which are significant to find the rotor position and speed by EKF method will give approximate results. As population growth results in an increasing demand on water supply. Usually, growers determine how much water is needed to irrigate their field based on the amount of time elapsed since last irrigation cycle. An automated irrigation system enables the users to constantly monitor the relative soil moisture at many different locations throughout the field to more precisely schedule irrigation cycles. The sensing system is based on a feedback control mechanism with a centralized control unit which regulates the flow of water on to the field in the real time based on the instantaneous temperature and moisture values. Depending on the varied requirement of different crops, a lookup table has been prepared and referred to for ascertaining the amount of water needed by that crop.

Today, Smart Grid (SG) is an intelligent and effective way of having endless growth and developme... more Today, Smart Grid (SG) is an intelligent and effective way of having endless growth and development possibilities. On the other side, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) is also gaining importance due to its attractive features like transferring bi-directional power using the power electronic converters between Electric Vehicles (EVs) and grid, regulating grid voltage/frequency etc. This V2G concept offers benefits to users, utilities, economics and also the environment but in spite of all this, it also needs further insight related to the Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) issues, due to the presence of bi-directional power flow converters, which are left unattended. In order to be competitive in present times the EMI noise signal, which is presented in the actual signal and energy efficiency characteristics should be focused smartly. The present electrical technology is dominated by the converters, which are based on power electronics, so this paper proposes a Wavelet Transform (WT) based time frequency localized approach for EMI noise mitigation in V2G systems. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated in terms of Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and the investigation is mainly focused on harmonics and the conducted EMI suppression.

A photovoltaic array (PVA) simulation model to be used in Matlab-Simelectronic GUI environment wi... more A photovoltaic array (PVA) simulation model to be used in Matlab-Simelectronic GUI environment will be developed and analyzed in this paper. In Simelectronic environment the simulink signal is converted to physical signal and again physical signal is converted to simulink signal. The model is developed using basic circuit equations of the photovoltaic (PV) solar cells including the effects of solar irradiation and temperature changes. The new model developed will be tested using a directly coupled dc load. A new implemented Photovoltaic Array Simulation model is to be developed by using Matlab/ Simelectronic Simulation Software. Test and validation studies with proper load matching circuits are simulated and results are presented here.

The converter can realize the energy bidirectional flowing and has the capability to recover the energy extracted from the turnoff phase of the PMSM machine. The principle of operation, modeling, and control strategy of the system has been investigated in the paper. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed system are also presented and discussed.
