The labour rights of tannery workers are disrupted and their standard of living is miserable. Nevertheless, the job of tannery workers is tedious. The aim of this paper is to explore the current status of basic labour rights maintained in tanneries based in the Dhaka and Narayanganj districts of Bangladesh. This study is qualitative in nature. Primary data have been collected from tannery workers through four Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and five observations from five different factory visits in 2021. The findings reveal that tannery workers are exploited by insufficient employment benefits and a lack of welfare facilities as stated in BLA-2006. They also suffer from occupational health, hygiene and safety crises. Long working hours and pay below minimum wage are also common in this sector. Accordingly, based on the recent statistics, Bangladesh is home to over 160 million people, where more than 64 million children make up around 40 percent of the population. Muslim countries all over the world maintain different principles in the management of waqf property where Bangladesh is not an exception. It is often experienced by researchers that Waqf in Bangladesh also faces problems entirely through their management and activities. The development of Waqf has further involved on issues such as lack of financial resources, lack of inefficiency of Waqf land, gaps in the legal system, unregistered Waqf land and Waqf on leased land. Thus, this article plans to find out the issues and challenges that arise on the Waqf and hinder the improvement of waqf management and administration. Special preference will be given on Bangladesh's existing legal framework and administration in Waqf management. The paper also attempts to evaluate Waqf's role on Bangladesh in terms of financial measures and poverty reduction. However, the present article is conducted based on qualitative research and collected data from secondary sources such as journal articles, books, book reviews, reports, magazines, newspapers, online newspapers and websites. The data collected through systematic literature review indicates that the Waqf institution in Bangladesh lacks appropriate management components. As a result, the experimental findings of this study suggests a real thought to improve the country's Waqf as well as to introduce a law that relies on a mixture of traditional religious belief and modern management tools to better manage, unite and organize the Waqf properties in Bangladesh.

Today, the perception of street children has become a wonder, which has caused enough pressure in Bangladesh. Through the coordinated perception on the street, the lives of street children have been shown, such as being a polisher, a tramp, a singer on the highway, selling wafers, plastic bags, and even begging money. No one would deny the fact that street children are the most neglected group of children in Bangladesh. Sometimes, street childrens are dull, abandoned, tortured, and even killed. They spoil and die due to economic crisis and poor country. If this problem is continued, violation of human rights will be increased in future. However, the aim of this paper is to protect the children and to overcome the current situation of street children in Bangladesh. Qualitative research based on secondary data collection has been done. Furthermore, this paper shows how street children are deprived of their rights and provides legal explanation of international and national laws including recommendations to protect street children in Bangladesh.
