This relationship is reciprocal because theory is developed to interpret and explain scientific research and, on the other hand, scientific research is conducted to test theory. Thus, the role of research is to test these hypotheses in order to refute or confirm them or to gather data, then build theory from the ground up. Scientific attempts aim to expand our understanding and knowledge about a particular situation which in turn leads to facilitating prediction and then controlling behavior (Miner, 2005). Public administration theory is not far from the previous perspective which is about the relationship between theory and scientific research. However, it has to be said that public administration is a unique discipline since it is affected by other disciplines such as political science, business administration and social science. Therefore, the evolution of the field of public administration is intertwined with not only the evolution of public administration research but also social, management and organizational research. Denhardet (2008) points out that public administration has been viewed as a part of governmental process and that makes a theory of public organization related to studies in political science. He also states that public organizations have been considered as similar to their counterparts, private organizations and, accordingly, the public organizational theory is mostly influenced by theory of organization.

With no regard to public or private organization setup, time pressure and work overload are reported by employees in general. Nurses are face the issue on daily basis. Stressful conditions due to time pressure and workload often lead to many organizational concerns in terms of mental health, physical health, absentees" turnover, emotional burnout etc. emotional intelligence is considered a best-coping strategy and it is studied with many organizational variables which positively related to positive variable and inversely related negative variable. Time pressure and workload werestudied with emotional intelligence it was observed that emotional intelligence was inversely related to time pressure and work overload. For this purpose, SmartPLS 3.0 was used to find the path coefficients and R-square, the output shows that the path coefficient for work overload (-0.55) and for time pressure (-0.38), the R-square (0.31) and (0.14) for work overload and time pressure with significance P-value (0.000) (0.000) and T-statistic value (14.9) (8.5) respectively. Nurses of the three main hospitals of Peshawar was the observing unit. And data was collected through selfadministrated questionnaires, a stratified and systematic random sample was used to obtain the sample size of 359 out of approximately 2000 nurses including the adjusting nursing schools which works under these hospitals setting.
THE ROLE OF SELF-MANAGEMENT IN REDUCING WORK STRESS CAUSED BY ROLE CONFLICT, ROLE AMBIGUITY, TIME PRESSURE AND WORK OVERLOAD: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM PAKISTAN, 2021

Stress is a growing concern in a walk of life, the causes of stress are so many specifically the work stress is researched so muchdue to the significant impact of this on all important variables of business and life in general. It is always an interesting quest to find the remedy for such issues, for this purpose the emotional intelligence is considered the best copy strategy. This research aims at finding the role of second dimensions of emotional intelligence (self-management) which was taken as the independent variable and 2 nd order variable technique were used to obtain the work stress from the four stressors. The smart pls 3.0 software was used to achieve the path coefficients (-0.

Leavitt The current study examined the relationship between emotional intelligence and ethical behavior in one of the large-sized public universities. Approximately 270 administrative employees working at Mid-Atlantic University (MAU) were asked to complete surveys that assessed their emotional intelligence dimensions as well as their level of ethical behavior. This study examined three hypotheses to investigate the relationship between each dimension of emotional intelligence and level of ethical behavior. Results of the statistical analyses revealed that some of the four dimensions of emotional intelligence are significantly correlated, some positively and other negatively, with different levels of ethical behavior. Even though the first hypothesis states that all four dimensions...

This model explains that different cultures hold different values related to their work (Hofstede,1991). The argument of this study and also in other previous studies is that these values are not excluded to individual relations towards work itself, but also towards relationships with co-workers and as well as toward the organization and so forth. This paper contributes to the literature of cultural influence on the workplace especially Hofstede"s theory by understanding the unique context of Saudi Arabia and its impact on Saudi female workplace. Provides a coherent picture of Saudi culture and avoids any bias since the researcher is a female who is born and raised and have worked in the Saudi Arabian workplace environment. Therefore, this paper envisions to explore the relationship between the religious and cultural environme...

Hence, this paper discuses the relationship between self-accountability and accountability in Islam as a type of religion that shapes accountability differently and how this religion shapes accountability? Yet public administration has faced many challenges and citizen participation could be one of many factors impacting public administration. Citizens realize that they need to be efficient members in the society by being more than recipients. Alkadry& Elias (2011), Callahan (2007), Henrik, & Esmark (2009) and Arnstein(1969) believe in citizen participation as a real implication of democracy. Citizen participation in making decisions which are related to what they need is the hope for reforming the defects in public administration. They, like many scholars, recognize that neither hierarchy nor restricted control can achieve efficiency and effectiveness; rath...
Use Dynamic Scheduling Algorithm to Assure the Quality of Educational Programs and Secure the Integrity of Reports in a Quality Management System

However, processes are complex because they involve several steps and several entities. Manual implementation (i.e., using paperwork), which many institutions use, has difficulty following up the progress and closing the cycle. It becomes more challenging when more processes are in place, especially when an academic department runs more than one program. Having n programs per department means that the work is replicated n times. Our proposal in this study is to use the concept of the Tomasulo algorithm to schedule all processes of an academic institution dynamically. Because of the similarities between computer tasks and the processes of workplaces, applying this method enhances work efficiencies and reduces efforts. Further, the method provides a mechanism to secure the integrity of the reports of these processes. In this paper, we provided an educat...
