Suicide is considered as sin in all the religions. There are social (history of family suicide, stressful life events etc.) and psychological (Mental illness, previous suicide attempts etc.) factors influencing individuals to commit suicide. There are many methods of committing suicide such as, pesticide poisoning, hanging, firearms, drug overdose, fatal injuries, exsanguinations, suffocation, drowning etc. This current study is conducted to analyze suicide stories of celebrities. The celebrities who commit suicide may have various reasons like, family problems, failed relationships, pressure of career, disturbed married life etc. As they are unable to cope up or face the pressure of their personal lives being telecasted openly they try to hide and suppress their relationship out of public glare. The objective of the study was to investigate the digit vigilance and cognitive speed of the patients. It was hypothesized that the people having schizophrenia have deficit levels of mental speed and sustained attention. Twenty male schizophrenic patients in the age range of 31-50 were contacted. They regularly visited the Day Care Rehabilitation Center. For assessing mental speed, Digit Symbol Substitution Test was administered and for assessing sustained attention, Digit Vigilance Test was administered individually. The results indicate that the patients with paranoid schizophrenia have deficiency in mental speed and sustained attention because the obtained scores were below 15th percentile. Deficient scores in mental speed and sustained attention indicate that the patients damaged right prefrontal cortex because right prefrontal cortex is responsible for sustained atten...

The study explains about the Rohingya crisis and its origination. It is discussed in the study that how chaotic conditions in Myanmar resulted in the exodus of Rohigya muslims from the country who are infiltrating neighbouring countries which are best approachable to them. Countries which are the signatories of UNHCR are supposed to allow them to enter their country but India not being a signatory of the same should not be forced to do that. However, the debate is still continuing on this issue referring few acts which support the permission to refugees to enter our country. In such circumstances Rohingyas are struggling for their livelihood and survival and getting involved in many antinational and anti-social activities. Consequently the legal citizens of India are substantially suffering and facing threat to develop their character strengths. The circumstances specially af...
