This study aims to integrate the variables, which are antecedents of SD through direct and indirect paths. The managers as participants of small‐ and medium‐sized enterprises have helped the researchers to explore the role of green knowledge management (GKM) and green dynamic capacity with the intervention of green innovation and competitive advantage in achieving SD. The results achieved through structural equation modeling revealed positive and significant direct and indirect relationships, however, the intervening role of green innovation and green competitive advantage between GKM and SD show insignificant results. Interestingly, we have also identified two significant moderators as a part of this study: large firm size and transformational leadership. This research has important implications and significan...

Considering effective team functioning, a leader’s non-cognitive abilities, knowledge-sharing behavior and the role of culture remain central concerns of health-care teams. This study aims to investigate how a leader’s emotional intelligence (EI) in a prevailing team culture can nurture the sharing of knowledge and enhance team EI that influences team performance. Design/methodology/approach The authors used multisource data representing a sample of 195 teams (735 respondents) to examine the hypothesized relationships by using the analytic strategy of partial least squares-structural equation modeling. This study bridged the methodological gap by using the repeated indicator approach that includes the reflective-formative second-order hierarchical latent variable model. Findings The results revealed a standpoint that leaders practicing the ability...

By means of co-citation and co-occurrence analyses, a bibliometric survey will give an alternate perspective by depicting the landscape and changing the path of socio-economic impact research over time. Utilizing the scientific visualization instrument VOSviewer and statistical software tool R, 2894 socio-economic impact works gathered from the Scopus database from 1965 to 2019. We used text mining techniques and presented major contents in the form of a conceptual structure map, word tree map, and word clouds. With a quantitative scientometric method, a historic and notable setting of research on socio-economic impact was provided, enabling us to follow the advancement of the field along with distinguishing the most productive authors, journals, institutions, and countries. We identified and envision the landscape of socio-economic research and track how this landscape has advanced. USA and UK are the prominent leaders in publications, although at a regional level most productive is Europe. Journal of Cleaner production, Climatic Change, and Plos One are the most influential and productive journals in the field. The insights of knowledge accumulated from a bibliometric review after mapping the landscape will give scholars an efficient comprehension of the advancement of the socio-economic impact field and a guide to further progress socio-economic impact research literature.

Nevertheless, such behavior can be stimulated through a leadership style that has received rare attention. Therefore, this study proposed an integrated research model that explores how transformational leadership influences citizenship behaviors through rarely used dimensions Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Organization and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Individual by addressing the mediating role of workplace spirituality and emotional intelligence. We integrated two theoretical models of social exchange and transformational leadership to describe the underlying linkages. Using data from 408 academicians working in public sector universities and by employing Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling we provided support for our hypothesis to validate the research model. This study focuses on a typology of the second-order hierarchical latent variable model that includes reflective—formative relationships with emphasis on the repeated indicator approach. The findings of this study provide empirical evidence and encouraging justifications for the substantial influence of workplace spirituality and emotional intelligence on the relationship between transformational leadership and citizenship behaviours.

This is not only affecting the working standards of institutions but is also depriving them of thequalified and talented workforce. Turnover intention can be represented as the movement of a person from an institution across its membership boundary. Talented, highly qualified and satisfied academicians are required for the prosperity of any higher education institution. If the academicians are not motivated and satisfied with the job, the working standards in the educational institutions will fall and due objectives won't be accomplished. Ethical leadership assumes a fundamental part of decreasing turnover intentions among employees. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of ethical leadership on employee turnover intentions through the lens of pro-social rule breaking in private sector higher education institutions of Pakistan. Correlation and regression were employed in order to test the model where survey responses were gathered from 240 academicians employed in four private sector universities of Pakistan. Results showed that there exists a negative relationship between ethical leadership and employee turnover intention and prosocial rule breaking. Furthermore, pro-social rule breaking has a positive relationship with employee turnover intention. The results of regression analysis showed that prosocial rule breaking acts as a partial mediator between ethical leadership and employee turnover intentions. Expanding on current theoretical knowledge, this study makes a significant contribution to leadership literature suggesting that firms should implement ethical leadership practices that support in reducing employee turnover intentions.
