This study was conceded out in three locations: Location I: Agronomy Farm, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Location II: Cold Storage, Jalandhar Bypass and Location III: Cold Storage, Mullanpur. The results revealed that the levels of Arsenic (As), Chromium (Cr) and Cadmium (Cd) were greater than normal levels in excreta of pigeon from all the three locations and for Lead (Pb) it was above the toxic level at Location II and III. Lead (Pb) levels were observed to be more than thetoxic range from both the locations. Concentrations of heavy metals were higher in locations II and III because these locations are close to road and have more industrial units than location I. Therefore, pigeons excreta can be used as bioindicator for heavy metal levels.

Pesticides are the chemicals used in agriculture to protect the plants from weeds, pests or diseases and human being from various diseases. In this review, the literature of different types of pesticides, pesticide usage and its toxic effects on mammalian systems are summarized. Most commonly used pesticides are fungicides, insecticides and herbicides to control the weeds and pest from agricultural sites. In the usage of pesticides, India stands 12 th in the world even though the use of pesticides in India is low as compared to other nations in the world. However due to their negative impacts on human and the environment there is a requirement for an ecological and sustainable approach, as the public needs the execution of the latest concept of agriculture that is safe for humans and the environment. For the sustainable agriculture development and to protect the environment from adverse effects of chemical pesticides, formulation and utilisation of bio-pesticides should be encouraged.

Online communities have evolved to allow large groups of people to participate with them, and some users have created a virtual world that is impacted by the community's internal members. Existing research on online product communities (OBCs) puts thousands of years of participation and collaboration in a new light. The authors conducted in-depth discussions to analyse thousands of years of engagement in online forums and product ideas in the fashion business, drawing on a theory of social impact as well as a constructivist perspective. The key conclusions are based on the four stages of client engagement in OBCs. These vital categories are being investigated in order to establish a foundation for future study in the field and to contribute to the field of online service interaction, particularly in the fashion business.

Two doses of imidacloprid (10 and 20 mg/ kg/ day) were selected based on LD50 and given through oral intubation to female rats for 60 days. Disturbed cyclicity with significant (P<0.05) decrease in the number of estrous cycle days and increased diestrous index was observed at high dose. Serial sections of ovary were studied for atretic follicles in imidacloprid treated rats. Number of healthy follicles was significantly (P<0.05) decreased with increased number of atretic follicles at high dose of imidacloprid. The histopathology of ovary also revealed more atretic follicles at high dose of imidacloprid. Decreased body weight and ovary weight in imidacloprid treated rats was dose dependent. Based on the observed effects, it can be concluded that imidacloprid produced more significant effects on female reproduction at high dose (20 mg/ kgbw/ day) as compared to low dose (1...

The amount of heavy metals in washed and unwashed feral pigeon feathers were investigated in this paper. The feathers were collected from five distant locations: Agronomy Farm Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Cold Storage Jalandhar Bypass, Cold Storage Mullanpur, Jalandhar FCI and Hoshiarpur FCI. Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry was used to analyse the concentration of heavy metals (Arsenic, Chromium, Cadmium and Lead). The high metal concentration in two areas (Hoshiarpur FCI and Jalandhar Bypass) as compare to other three areas is due to much more industries and anthropogenic activities. Mean values of As, Cd, Pb, and Cr were statistically significant different in the five collection sites. Metal concentrations are related to contact time or external exposure, as shown by significant differences in Cd, Pb, and Cr concentrations in washed...
