To achieve the aim, an experiment conducted in the experimental field of University Research Farm, Rama University Mandhana, Kanpur 209217 (U.P.). The soil of the study area was basic in reaction, salt free, medium textured having low organic matter & total N contents. Three different cultivars of mungbean viz., (IPM 02-3, PDM-139, IPM 410-3) grown in kharif season for one consecutive years i.e., 2023. Three different levels of RDF applied @ 75%, 100% and 125% ha -1 . While, a constant dose of P2O5 and K2O also applied to each N level (except control, zero). Urea fertilizer used as a source of N, while DAP and MOP as sources of P & K, respectively. The plot size kept as 21 m 2 (7x3), and arranged in a Spilt plot design (SPD). Results showed that different fertilizer levels did significantly (p<0.05) influence most of the growth attributes of the mungbean. Maximum plant height (63.51 cm), dry matter plant -1 (9.46 g) and leaf area index (6.84) in 125% RDF. Whereas number of branches plant -1 (3.49), yield (9.20 q ha 1 ) recorded for plants subjected to highest 100% RDF ha -1 . Similar responses toward also noted for various cultivars of mungbean. Maximum plant height (61.75 cm), dry matter accumulation (9.89 g), number of branches (3.45), leaf area index (6.95), number of root nodules plant -1 (15.90), number of pod plant -1 (23.04), number of grain pod -1 (7.95), test weight (41.21 g), grain yield (9.26 q ha -1 ), strow yield (26.18 q ha -1 ), and biological yield (36.11 q ha -1 ) recorded for IPM 02-3. Whereas, the maximum number of flower initiation days (35.77) in PDM139. But length of pod (8.39 cm) obtained for mungbean cultivar IPM 410-3.

The nine treatments viz., T1-Rhizobium @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments, T2-Rhizobium + ZMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each, T3 -PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each, T4-Rhizobium + PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each, T5 -RDF N-25 Kg ha -1 , P-45 Kg ha -1 , K-0 Kg ha -1 , T6 -NPK Consortia @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments, T7 -Rhizobium + PSB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each, T8 -Rhizobium + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each, T9 -Control, were comprised in Randomized Block Design with three replication. The Type-9 was taken as test crop. Spacing between row to row and plant to plant were 30 and 10 cm, respectively. The values of growth contributing characters viz. plant population (no.), Number of trifoliate leaves plant -1 , Leaf area index (LAI), Crop Growth rate (CGR), Plant height, Dry matter accumulation (gm -2 ), Number of branches plant -1 , Number of nodules plant -1 , Fresh weight of nodules plant -1 , Dry weight of nodules plant -1 and yield attributes like number of pods plant -1 , number of seed pod -1 , Pod length (cm), Test weight (g), Seed yield (q ha -1 ), Biological yield (q ha -1 ), Harvest Index (%), N, P, K contents in seed and straw, N, P, K uptake in seed and straw, Protein content in seed and straw of crop were increasing significantly with (T4) Rhizobium + PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatment each followed by RDF N-25 Kg ha -1 , P-45 Kg ha -1 , K-0 Kg ha -1 seed treatment each and significantly superior over rest of the treatments. The highest gross return was recorded (Rs. ha -1 84140) in Rhizobium + PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each followed by Rs. ha -1 79649 with Rhizobium + PSB @ 25 ml kg -1 seed treatments each. Maximum net return of Rs. ha -1 56314 was received with the application Rhizobium + PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each followed by Rhizobium + PSB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each. Highest benefit cost ratio (2.02) was recorded Rhizobium + PSB + KMB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each followed by Rhizobium + PSB @ 30 ml kg -1 seed treatments each.
