Provinsi Aceh merupakan Provinsi urutan ke-7 dari keseluruhan Provinsi yang ada di Indonesia dengan penduduk yang bermasalah terhadap gigi dan mulut yaitu 30,5%. Sedangkan di lihat dari kelompok usia 1-4 tahun mencapai 10,4%6. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Langsa pada tahun 2017 angka prevalensi karies gigi pada balita 2-5 tahun adalah sebanyak 306 kasus. This study aims to analyze what factors affect the work stress on nurses. This research is a quantitative study with a research design using the analytical survey method with a Cross Sectional approach. The research was conducted at Rantauprapat Hospital, Labuhanbatu Regency. The sample was 82 nurses obtained by purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using a univariate analysis test, Bivariate using a chi-square test, and Multivariate using multiple Logistic regression. The results showed that in the univariate analysis of 82 respondents, most of the respondents were 36-45 years old, namely 36 (43.9%), and had a D3 Nursing education level, namely 45 (54.9%). This study aims to analyze whether there is a relationship between work stress and the performance of nurses in the Environment Eye Hospital Province Of North Sumatra This research was a quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The study was conducted at the Environment Eye Hospital Province Of North Sumatra from July to August 2022. The number of samples was 43 nurses who were obtained by total sampling. The data in this study include primary data, secondary data and tertiary data. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis test, bivariate analysis using Chi-square test and multivariate using logistic regression test. The results showed that in the univariate analysis of 43 respondents, most of the respondents aged > 35 years, as many as 24 (55.4%) respondents, female, as many as 40 (93.2%) respondents with D3 Nursing education as many as 34 (79 ,1%). In the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a relationship between task demands (p value = 0.024), role demands (p value = 0.001), organizational structure (p value = 0.033), organizational leadership (p value = 0.024) with the performance of nurses in the Special Hospital Environment. Kejadian Infeksi Daerah Operasi (IDO) di RSUD Doloksanggul pada Tahun 2019 yaitu kasus bedah umum sebesar 10%, kasus bedah mata sebesar 10%, kasus kebidanan sebesar 2% dan kasus bedah mulut sebesar 0,5%. Laporan pada bulan April di Rumah sakit Telaga Bunda 4,7 % angka keterlambatan pelaporan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium, hal ini dikarenakan masih adanya perawat ruangan yang tidak melaporkan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium. Desain penelitian adalah kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan pengumpulkan data dengan teknik : interview (wawancara), observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa belum seratus persen perawat melapor hasil kritis kepada DPJP, perawat yang sudah melaporkan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium belum seratus persen melakukan read back kepada dokter DPJP, dan belum seratus persen perawat melakukan dokumentasi hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium di rekam medik pasien, yaitu melakukan pencatatan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium ditulis di CPPT rekam medik pasien. Hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium tidak semua dilaporkan ke DPJP oleh perawat maupun petugas laboratorium karena petugas kurang memahami pengertian hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium secara benar. Diperlukan sosialisasi ulang tentang keselamatan pasien, hasil pemeriksaan kritis dan komunikasi efektif kepada perawat dan petugas laboratorium.

Jenis penelitian adalah dengan Cross Sectional dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penentu minat berkunjung ulang pasien tuberkulosis di Poliklinik Paru Rumah Sakit Pirngadi Medan dengan populasi penelitian adalah 1397 pasien TB yang berobat jalan dan sampel diambil dengan cara purposive sampling sebanyak 93 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehandalan memiliki nilai sig-p 0,300 > 0,05, jaminan sig-p 0,008 < 0,05, bukti fisik sig-p 0,221 < 0,05, empati sig-p 0,028 < 0,05, daya tanggap sig-p 0,034 < 0,05 dan kepuasan pasien sig-p 0,008 < 0,05. Physical activity is essential to diabetic patients to improve insulin sensitivity so that diabetes can be well controlled. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of physical activity on glucose transporter-4 (GLUT-4), fasting blood glucose level (FBGL) and glycated hemoglobin (HbA 1C) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in Medan. Material and methods. The study design was analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was T2DM patients, and the number of samples was 83 people who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study protocol was approved by the research ethics committee at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and all participants willing to participate in the study signed written informed consent. The physical activity of T2DM patients was assessed by using a global physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ). The GLUT-4 level was assessed by using the Human GLUT-4 kit, which is ELISA method based. FBGL and HbA 1C levels were determined by using the Doronad affinity + Modified HPLC method. Data was analyzed by the one-way ANOVA statistic test and processed by using SpSS. Results. The results showed that physical activity affected the level of GLUT-4, FBGL and HbA 1C among T2DM patients. Conclusions. Medications and diet were not the main determinants of controlled BGL in diabetic patients. However, physical activity is one of the four-element points (education, dietary, physical activity, medicine) in diabetes management that must be implemented to achieve a better quality of life in diabetic patients.

The main cause of mortality and morbidity in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients is cardiovascular disease. According to the American Heart Association, at least 65% of the deaths of T2DM patients are due to heart disease and stroke. Objectives. This study aims to analyse cardiovascular complication risk based on Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP) and the influencing factors in T2DM patients. Material and methods. This is an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was T2DM patients from primary health care in Medan, Indonesia, with a total of 85 people. Subjects were recruited using consecutive sampling with inclusive and exclusive criteria. AIP values were determined using the AIP calculator with the logarithm calculation (TG/HDL-C). The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis, with a 95% confidence interval and a significant value of p < 0.05. Results. The majority of patients are known to be at high risk with AIP ≥ 0.21. There is a relationship between FBGL and HbA 1c with AIP (p < 0.05). There is a significant relationship between TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and AIP index (p < 0.05), while there is no relationship between LDL-C and AIP (p > 0.05). Conclusions. A continuous educational effort is critical for improving patients' understanding in preventing the occurrence of complications that increase morbidity and mortality.

This study aims to analyze whether there is a relationship between work stress and the performance of nurses in the Environment Eye Hospital Province Of North Sumatra This research was a quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The study was conducted at the Environment Eye Hospital Province Of North Sumatra from July to August 2022. The number of samples was 43 nurses who were obtained by total sampling. The data in this study include primary data, secondary data and tertiary data. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis test, bivariate analysis using Chi-square test and multivariate using logistic regression test. The results showed that in the univariate analysis of 43 respondents, most of the respondents aged > 35 years, as many as 24 (55.4%) respondents, female, as many as 40 (93.2%) respondents with D3 Nursing education as many as 34 (79 ,1%). In the bivariate analysis, it is known that there is a relationship between task demands (p value = 0.024), role demands (p value = 0.001), organizational structure (p value = 0.033), organizational leadership (p value = 0.024) with the performance of nurses in the Special Hospital Environment. Laporan pada bulan April di Rumah sakit Telaga Bunda 4,7 % angka keterlambatan pelaporan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium, hal ini dikarenakan masih adanya perawat ruangan yang tidak melaporkan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium. Desain penelitian adalah kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan pengumpulkan data dengan teknik : interview (wawancara), observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa belum seratus persen perawat melapor hasil kritis kepada DPJP, perawat yang sudah melaporkan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium belum seratus persen melakukan read back kepada dokter DPJP, dan belum seratus persen perawat melakukan dokumentasi hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium di rekam medik pasien, yaitu melakukan pencatatan hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium ditulis di CPPT rekam medik pasien. Hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium tidak semua dilaporkan ke DPJP oleh perawat maupun petugas laboratorium karena petugas kurang memahami pengertian hasil kritis pemeriksaan laboratorium secara benar. Diperlukan sosialisasi ulang tentang keselamatan pasien, hasil pemeriksaan kritis dan komunikasi efektif kepada perawat dan petugas laboratorium.

Physical activity is essential to diabetic patients to improve insulin sensitivity so that diabetes can be well controlled. Objectives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of physical activity on glucose transporter-4 (GLUT-4), fasting blood glucose level (FBGL) and glycated hemoglobin (HbA 1C) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in Medan. Material and methods. The study design was analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was T2DM patients, and the number of samples was 83 people who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study protocol was approved by the research ethics committee at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, and all participants willing to participate in the study signed written informed consent. The physical activity of T2DM patients was assessed by using a global physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ). The GLUT-4 level was assessed by using the Human GLUT-4 kit, which is ELISA method based. FBGL and HbA 1C levels were determined by using the Doronad affinity + Modified HPLC method. Data was analyzed by the one-way ANOVA statistic test and processed by using SpSS. Results. The results showed that physical activity affected the level of GLUT-4, FBGL and HbA 1C among T2DM patients. Conclusions. Medications and diet were not the main determinants of controlled BGL in diabetic patients. However, physical activity is one of the four-element points (education, dietary, physical activity, medicine) in diabetes management that must be implemented to achieve a better quality of life in diabetic patients.

This study aims to analyse cardiovascular complication risk based on Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP) and the influencing factors in T2DM patients. Material and methods. This is an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was T2DM patients from primary health care in Medan, Indonesia, with a total of 85 people. Subjects were recruited using consecutive sampling with inclusive and exclusive criteria. AIP values were determined using the AIP calculator with the logarithm calculation (TG/HDL-C). The chi-square test was used for statistical analysis, with a 95% confidence interval and a significant value of p < 0.05. Results. The majority of patients are known to be at high risk with AIP ≥ 0.21. There is a relationship between FBGL and HbA 1c with AIP (p < 0.05). There is a significant relationship between TC, TG, HDL-C, LDL-C and AIP index (p < 0.05), while there is no relationship between LDL-C and AIP (p > 0.05). Conclusions. A continuous educational effort is critical for improving patients' understanding in preventing the occurrence of complications that increase morbidity and mortality.

The decrease in sleep quality has an impact on not controlling blood glucose levels (BGL). AIM: The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of sleep quality on control BGLs of type 2 DM patients in Medan. METHODS: This study is analytic with a cross-sectional design. The study population was type 2 DM patients who came to the Medan Labuhan Primary Health Care with a total sample of 83 people, sample collection by consecutive sampling method (inclusion and exclusion criteria). Management data using the SPSS computer program and data analysis using the Chi-square test. RESULTS: The majority of patients were female (57.8%), the most age group was above 50 years (98.8%), with the highest duration of illnesses being above 5 years (77.1%), family history of suffering from DM was mothers with DM (36.1%), and mean of BGL was 215 mg/dl.
