Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pappaseng adalah pesan yang memiliki fungsi dalam kehidupan... more Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pappaseng adalah pesan yang memiliki fungsi dalam kehidupan masyarakat Bugis. Itulah sebabnya, seringkali dalam pappaseng ditemukan metafora yang bertujuan untuk mempertegas pesan yang ingin disampaikan. Meskipun demikian, hanya sebagian kecil masyarakat yang mengetahui tentang pappaseng ini. Peneliti melakukan wawancara kualitatif dengan tokoh atau masyarakat di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang untuk menyelidiki bagaimana pengetahuan dan perspektif mereka tentang pappaseng Bugis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat kategori bentuk metafora dalam pappaseng yaitu: (1) kategori human (manusia) terdapat 2 data yaitu passari, paggolla, (2) kategori living (kehidupan) terdapat 1 data yaitu ase, (3) kategori object (benda) terdapat 3 data yaitu bola, aliri, ola’ (4) kategori cosmos (kosmos) terdapat 1 data yaitu bittara. This study aims (1) to explain the code-switching and mixing of the Wolio language code into Indo... more This study aims (1) to explain the code-switching and mixing of the Wolio language code into Indonesian in the regional work units of the City of Baubau and (2) to reveal the factors that cause code-switching and mixing the Wolio language code into Indonesian in the work unit. Baubau City regional apparatus. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative which describes or depicts the facts of the empirically alive situation of its speakers. The results of this study indicate that there is code-switching and code-mixing in the communication that occurs between the community and employees who work in the regional work units of the City of Baubau. Instead, the code is sorted into high to low and low to high code-switching.

Method used in this study was reflective qualitative method, since this method the researcher put himself as a subject and also determined the data interpretation. To filter the data, the researcher also used observation method (direct obsevation and interview). Then, the samples used in thid research was purposively depend on caricature meaning and their function. The result indicate that all the cartoons have different verbal codes and visual codes. This is a descriptive-qualitative study. The data of the research are sentences or phrases taken randomly from the criminal code (KUHPidana), civil code (KUHPerdata), trade code (KUHDagang), decrees, explanations of legislation (laws). The analysis employed is descriptive and prescriptive. It was figured out that the use of Indonesian language in legal aspect was manifested in seven processes: translation, abstraction, association, typology, meaning emphasis, simplicity, and legal choices. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative description. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, records, and documentation. In analyzing the data it was used Roland Barthes semiotics analysis. The researchwas conducted in Wawoangi village, Sampolawa District, South of Buton regency. The results show that the stages of the implementation of the posuo ritual consist of 3, namely 1) preparation, 2) implementation which include pokunde (shampoo), pebaho (bathing), pauncura (inauguration), panimpa (blessing), padole (laid down), palego (moving limbs), pasipo (disapapi), posuo (confinement), bhaliana yimpo (change in sleeping position), matana posuo (peak of the event), and 3) closing. Korean language has 3 characteristics of consonants, namely basic consonants, fortic consonants, and aspirate consonants. This study aims to describe the phonological interference of consonants that occurs from Indonesian to Korean. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method to find out what phonological transfers are found when Indonesian speakers pronounce words with three types of consonants in Korean. The subjects of this study were 5 Indonesian speakers who studied Korean. The five subjects were given a short story containing words with various consonants to read, and their voices were recorded. Analysis of the data showed that there were differences in the pronunciation of some Korean and Indonesian consonants in the phonological transfer when Korean was spoken by Indonesian speakers.
