Emergence of 3G, Broadband, WAP technology and the latest breakthroughs of Information & Communic... more Emergence of 3G, Broadband, WAP technology and the latest breakthroughs of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) gave birth to a quantum-leap change in customer-savvy business approaches. The „digital‟ mode of business not only adds a new dimension to the dynamic spectrum of trade & technology interface but also sets a new milestone in order to be more customer focused for getting aligned with „survival for the fittest‟ in competitive business war front. Business under digital framework through online route provides the fullest convenience to the customers at their fingertips thereby resulting in customer delight. Breakthroughs in internet & telecommunication technology have shrinked the entire world into a global village and brought it virtually to our mobile & PC. Indian tea industry being an oldest labour-intensive organized sector with a contribution of near... more Indian tea industry being an oldest labour-intensive organized sector with a contribution of nearly 30% of the global production, acts as nation’s one of the major foreign exchange earner and employment generator. The Indian branded tea market is highly vibrant and one of the most penetrated product category with a large network of tea producers, retailers, distributors, auctioneers, exporters and packers. This article attempts to ventilate some interesting aspects of the branded tea market in India in the packed, tea bag and flavored tea segments and also investigates the profile of attitudinal preference shown by the customers of the branded (packaged) tea in North Kolkata area followed by comparative evaluation of the brand Brooke Bond Red Label relative to other rival brands available.

With growing mobile penetration and mammoth wireless subscriber base, the focus of banking is slowly shifting to digital platform via mobile. The digital mode of banking via mobile acting as our digital wallet strives to ease the pain of the users and bring agility to the multi pronged financial transactions ranging from balance enquiry, online fund transfer, ticket reservations, payments for shopping & utilities, credit applications and other banking transactions. The lubricating oil and grease market being one of the most important sectors of Indian petrochem Industry is growing at around 4.5% annually with an estimated growth to the level of approximately 2 million tonnes in 2014–15. The Indian lubricants industry claims to be the fifth largest in the world with the presence of almost all major MNCs like Valvoline, Shell, Mobil, Gulf oil. The objective of this study was to analyze the Product Awareness & Brand Image of Valvoline Cummins at Siliguri region of North Bengal with respect to the quality of performance of product, Competitor's product, Cost analysis etc.

Media penetration, rising incomes, changing lifestyles, growth in organized retail consumers have... more Media penetration, rising incomes, changing lifestyles, growth in organized retail consumers have made biscuits as fastest moving packaged food today.This research article attempts to identify the changing purchasing perception, behaviouralpreferences of the customers of hill town Darjeeling &Siliguri in plain towards biscuit variety selection. An empirical research methodology has been adopted here to unearth the key aspects of customers’ perception in buying different varieties of branded biscuits &behaviour followed by identification of strongest variety selection factors. Finally the article concludes by sketching a competitive market scenario of popular shampoo brands in Siliguri using Importance Performance Analysis.
