In this article, the specific form of poverty known as precarity and the relations of precarity and poverty are examined through a case analysis of Germany. Social exclusion analysis is combined with the method of life-course analysis in this study to distinguish high risk groups of precarity. With this approach, new dimensions of poverty as precarious working and living conditions are defined which may be added to multidimensional poverty measurement. “Life-course analysis” approaches the understanding of poverty as it defines high-risk groups of young adults, single parents, sick or disabled individuals, and retired people (Barnes M, Social exclusion and the life course. In Barnes M, Heady C, Middleton S, Millar J, Papadopoulos F, Room G, Tsakloglou P (eds) Poverty and social exclusion in Europe. Edward Elgar, Cheltenham/Northampton, pp 1–24, 2002). In this work, women and academics are added to high risk groups of precarity as well as migrants and refugees and their children (referred to as “denizens”) because of the specific difficulties they experience in their entrance to the labour market and the status of their working rights.

How does the artist experience the world while creating his work? What kind of a perspective does aesthetics, that is, the philosophy of art, give to the world? First of all, it should be noted that the artistic point of view, which constitutes the essence of poetry, painting, sculpture and other basic branches of art, eliminates the distinction between subject and object, and that this way of experiencing enables the artist, who is the subject, to somehow integrate with what he sees, that is, with the objects he sees in the world, and to put himself in their place. It can be argued that a similar perspective in philosophy is close to artistic experience: In philosophy, this point of view belongs to the philosophical movement called phenomenology, founded by Edmund Husserl (1859-1938). I should point out that by going through the affinities between artistic experience and phenomenology, new insights have been brought to contribute to art theory and there have been many publications on the relationship between phenomenology and art in the world for a long time.

In this respect, it is discussed that Heideggerian philosophy is not at odds with Marxism in contrast to Theodor W. Adorno’s arguments in The Jargon of Authenticity. Additionally, the claim of this study is that Heidegger’s ontologico-existential philosophy can be effective in the analysis and solution of the problem with regard to some socio-psychological causes and effects of alienation in which the method of political economy can remain inadequate. In particular, Dasein’s free and authentic self-understanding which gets rid of the suppressive authority of publicness and the ontological Being-with Others in society in harmony with nature can introduce a revolutionary perspective into the problem of alienation.
The author discusses the place of cultural objects in our daily lives and the role they play in our aesthetic perception with subtlety, artistic and philosophical depth. By addressing the subject through various everyday and cultural objects, he manages to complement his philosophical discussions with a convincing, up-to-date and concrete work. This work is not only a work that deals with Anatolian culture in terms of art history; in addition to its contributions to the field of art history, it also deals with Anatolian culture philosophically. By approaching Anatolian culture from the perspective of the philosophy of art (aesthetics), it plays a major role in the discussion and re-investigation of Anatolian culture in the contemporary period and in the reconstruction of Anatolian cultural values on the basis of concepts.

This work expresses that Heideggerian philosophy is not at odds with Marxism on contrary to Adorno’s arguments in The Jargon of Authenticity. Heidegger’s ontologico-existential philosophy could be effective in the analysis of the problem with regard to socio-psychological causes and effects of alienation on which the method of political economy may remain inadequate. In particular, Dasein’s free and authentic self-understanding which gets rid of the suppressive authority of publicness, the unifying idea of the ontological Being-with Others and the phenomenological insight into the nature can introduce a revolutionary perspective into the problems of alienation and mass cultures. In this context, the similarities in the approaches of Marx and Heidegger are discussed in detail. This analysis tries to form a new correlation between Heideggerian and Marxist philosophies and could make use for academics, any researchers on the concept of alieneation as well as the faithful readers Marx, Adorno and Heidegger.

She analyzes Heidegger`s concepts of truth, world, space, and related concepts and establishes a formal, contextual, and material method of analysis for the purpose of examining works of art. This new method of analysis is applied to three pieces by the artist Joseph Beuys as a case study.

It defines beauty as the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. In this study, I wish to analyze Joseph Beuys “Badewanne (1960)” in a comparison with the Wabi-Sabi Aesthetic. Beuys uses imperfect, rusty and earthy everyday objects to construct his works. His constellation “Badewanne (1960)” which contained a dirty bathtub was mistakenly cleaned by two women at the Museum Schloss Morsbroich in the autumn of 1973. Similarly, Sen no Rikyū, who integrated many of the concepts of wabi-sabi into the prescribed practices of the tea ceremony, asks to be a disciple of tea master Takeno Joo. Joo asks Rikyū to clean the garden of tea house. Rikyūscrubs every inch of dirt from the garden. He returns to inspect his work and then reaches out to a tree to allow leaves to sprinkle upon the floor in accordance with wabi-sabi principles.
