This article presents the cleaning strategy of the gypsum panel entitled “Os Pescadores”, stored ... more This article presents the cleaning strategy of the gypsum panel entitled “Os Pescadores”, stored for years without a proper conditioning, presenting large amounts of superficial and more adhered dirt. The methodological approach combined the use of wet and dry methods. As a material of great presence in the Portuguese context, it’s important to share information on case studies posing specific challenges.

According to Cotrim (Cotrim, 2004), the depreciation of this decorative art resulted in the reduced number of works produced, influencing the state of degradation in which the plastered elements in old buildings are found. Still according to the same author, not long ago, adaptations of old buildings were made to accommodate offices that, for reasons of “modernization”, could not boast old decorations, so that these ceilings were hidden or, in many cases, simply destroyed. “The execution of plastered elements, following traditional techniques, constituted an artistic branch of the construction industry, whose loss of information currently makes pathological diagnosis and the choice of conservation or repair solutions difficult”. I understood such participation as the possibility of giving a personal testimony of what are some of my most pressing current issues questions regarding the Management of Cultural Assets, having brought to the debate several questions, since, in a time of constant change, models tend to be reassessed and even changed. Since 2019, the world has been threatened by events that have shaken our certainties and introduced profound changes in our daily lives. We want to highlight a new approach that permits a different result from the one usually obtained in the Museum´s practice, where reconstruction and restitution became more important than conservation. O objetivo deste artigo consiste em analisar a evidenciação dos ativos intangíveis nos relatórios... more O objetivo deste artigo consiste em analisar a evidenciação dos ativos intangíveis nos relatórios financeiros divulgados pelas companhias do setor de calçados listados na BMFBOVESPA, a fim de identificar a aderência às normas nacionais que tratam da divulgação desses ativos. A pesquisa constitui um estudo de caso com delineamento bibliográfico e documental, sendo analisados os relatórios financeiros e as respectivas notas explicativas do exercício social de 2016 das companhias: Alpargatas S.A., Cambuci S.A., Grendene S.A. e Vulcabras S.A., com base no Pronunciamento Técnico CPC 04. Para fins de análise, foi utilizado um checklist baseado nos itens 118 a 128 do CPC 04 que tratam especificamente da divulgação dos ativos intangíveis, visando determinar o atendimento ou não destes itens pelas companhias. Conseguir el equilibrio a partes iguales entre su accesibilidad social y su conservación es el principal reto al que se enfrentan los museos memoriales como el Museo Estatal de Auschwitz-Birkenau, al que hay que sumar todos los riesgos añadidos que suponen su cesión en una exposición temporal, especialmente aquellos riesgos con origen antrópico, sean fortuitos o intencionados. In this particular context, an orthophotography of a portrait painted on canvas from a university museum collection was used in Blender, a free and open-source 3D creation software suite. Blender uses an important metric coordination value, provided by the 3D workspace software that allows the areal characterization and numeric identification of each surface loss. In this paper we present some results of the use of digital documentation techniques for the char... more In this paper we present some results of the use of digital documentation techniques for the characterization and analysis of Cultural Heritage. The used tools (geographic information systems, digital photogrammetry and computer graphics software) allow us to explore new forms of recovery of digital documentation. The typology of objects where these technologies may be applied is diverse, from public artworks to objects integrated into a museological context. For the performed exercises, which were presented in RECH 3, were given as examples objects from the urban parks in the city of Porto, from the National Museum of Soares dos Reis, from the Major Seminary of Our Lady of the Conception of Porto, from the Church of the Holy Spirit in Évora, and from private collectors, among others.
