They usually occur in children and young adults, presenting themselves with great aggressiveness.Case presentation: We present a 4-year-old girl who went to the office with an inflammation in the floor of the right nostril, without fever, without pain, poor rhinorrhea with right nasal obstruction.Discussion: MRI was performed visualizing a tumor mass towards the right nasal floor, of great intensity, isointense and without rupture of the walls of the maxillary sinus or other neighboring structure. Incisional sample was taken for biopsy of the lesion that positively reports Ewing's sarcoma. Conclusions: treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy was applied.Introducción: dentro de los tumores de cabeza y cuell...

Open laryngeal trauma is one of the emergencies in otorhinolaryngology. Presentation of the case: we present a case with the objective of describing the behavior to be followed when faced with open laryngeal trauma. A 37-year-old black male, urban origin, with no history of disease, was shot in the back of the neck. Discussion: he was promptly taken to the operating room where he underwent flexible direct laryngoscopy in which a fracture of the thyroid cartilage and edema of the epiglottis were observed as the most relevant findings. Then she undergoes tracheotomy and exploratory cervicotomy. After several days of satisfactory evolution, he was discharged, leaving only functional dysphonia as a sequel. Conclusions: in the event of any neck trauma and, in particular, of this case, of the larynx, the need for an adequate anamnesis, a...

These brothers come to the internal medicine office of the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes hospital complaining of joint pain with skin and osteoarticular manifestations, consulting with the dermatology service considering the diagnosis of this rare syndrome and conducting relevant studies and after its conclusion makes the clinical report for publication because it is the first case reported in our province.
