The presence of this environment has serious implication for Malaysians and should be adopted as soon as possible since it is progressively growing. As for Generation X and Y, the acceptance and usage of new technology may not have any aggravation. However, Senior Citizens may experience complications in the acceptance and usage of new technology. The purpose of this research is to understand the reasons of behavioral intention to use RapidKL Touch N Go for bus services among the Senior Citizens. Qualitative research had been applied and mainly engaged with two approaches1) in-depth interviews and 2) observations. A total of seven informants were involved in this research

With the upgrading of mobile networks from 3G (Third Generation) to 4G (Fourth Generation) and the accessibility and expansion of WIFI networks, this also led to the gain usage of both smartphone and tablet in Malaysia. The aim of this paper is to understand what makes the working adults became obsessed with a smartphone and tablet usage in their daily life. Qualitative method has been applied and the two approaches have been engaged in this study; non-participant observation and in depth interview. The participants were interviewed until the data reaches the saturation point, and they were randomly selected. In this study, fifteen participants were involved.
The growth of mobile technologies and the accession of a new mobile network that is 4G or Forth G... more The growth of mobile technologies and the accession of a new mobile network that is 4G or Forth Generation are deemed as a breakthrough to launch new tool in the pedagogical paradigm known as Mobile Learning. Mobile Learning or M-learning is a distance learning system that gives opportunity for the working adults as well as for those who wants to further their study. Mobile Learning is learning accomplished by the use of small, portable computing devices such as Smartphones and Tablets which help M-learners typically view content and/or lessons in small, manageable formats that can be applied when the laptop or fixed station computers are unavailable. Mobile Learning also an arsenal to support learners and teachers as they navigate the options available in the expanding world of distance learning (McConatha, 2007). Mobile Learning considered as a stride ahead of e-learning because of its features; fast and extensive, reaching away to the geographically wide-spread learners, even tho...

Mobile technology enhancement from First Generation (1G) to Fourth Generation (4G) offered more value-added services such as 10 times faster speed than Third Generation (3G), faster content downloading and uploading with peak download speeds approaching 50 Mbps (megabit per second). The growth of mobile technology caused a strong increase of new media, the Internet as well as mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. This development played an important role, as the working adults became digitally literate, increasing ability to access, comprehend and interact in various situations using digital technology. Today, the working adults received ideas, information and entertainment not only from printed media such as newspapers and magazines but also through new media, the Internet. Extreme usage of new media and Internet synchronously increases tech-savvy users among working adults, especially competent in using of smartphones and tablets. As a result, they've discovered and learned new environment known as online shopping or m-commerce to be precise. M-commerce is defined as the transaction service via mobile devices for the exchange of products and services between buyers, suppliers and financial institutions which means that working adults can shop online anywhere and anytime.
