Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menghasilkan lembar kegiatan siswa yang dapat ... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menghasilkan lembar kegiatan siswa yang dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) pada siswa SMP kelas VII. Kelayakan LKS yang dikembangkan diuji berdasarkan aspek telaah dan validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dengan menggunakan metode validasi, observasi, tes KPS, dan respon siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D yang terdiri atas studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan pengujian, yang dibatasi sampai pada tahap pengembangan (uji coba terbatas). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan keterampilan proses sains siswa, lembar tes keterampilan proses sains siswa yang berupa pre-test dan post-test, serta lembar angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, LKS Circular Circuit Game layak ditinjau dari aspek validitas dengan persentase sebesar 96,1% (sangat layak), aspek kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 89,2% (sangat baik), dari aspek keefektifan memperoleh hasil N-gain sebes...

C... more Kujang form concept as an identity of Sundanese culture existence in Bogor urban park planning. City Park is a public space where people gather and do various activities in it. There are several functions of urban parks such as community associations, sports venues, environmental education, health promotion and aesthetic value. Some of the city parks in Bogor are Malabar Park, and Empang Park which is surrounded by residential areas and is mainly used as a sports vessel. Contrary to its function, the activity has not been supported by facilities that can provide user comfort and security. The problems seen in the existing condition of the park in Bogor are generally very bad and unkempt, some of the park has no recreational facilities or other supporting facilities that can be used by the public, has no strong character or identity, and has not connected between parks (connecting park). This current study investigated the correlation between the students' writing skills and each var... more This current study investigated the correlation between the students' writing skills and each variable of metacognitive parameters, i.e. knowledge about cognition and regulation of cognition. We also examined the power of the correlation and its direction. We distributed Metacognitive Awareness Inventory for a comprehensive evaluation of the students' metacognitive awareness, and a writing rubric to assess the students' academic writing skills. Quantitative analysis by using Pearson Correlation test and Multiple Regression test were employed to check the correlation, and its strength and direction, respectively. The results demonstrated that there was a significant and unidirectional correlation between metacognition and writing skills. Furthermore, it was noted that knowledge about cognition and regulation of cognition together affect the English writing skills with an influence level of up to 41.7%, and each variable of the two parameters gave a great influence on the English writing skills up to 82, 2%. These findings indicated that a student with good metacognitive skills will have good self-regulated learning skills, which enable him to establish reasonable writing goals, plan and strategies, which as a consequence, will improve his writing skills. Pedagogical implication lies in the better understanding of metacognition that will help writing teachers to be supportive and encourage them to develop lesson plans which accommodate this notion.
