The immunological response mediated by PPRs, induced by homotoxicological biotherapeutic remedies administered in low doses is, according to the Author, fundamental for the achievement of the oral tolerance induction phenomena: the Bystander Suppression and the Specific Suppression.

In the study 112 patients were enrolled (42 males, 70 females, aged 12-81) 64 of which suffering from LBP (44 low back pain; 20 sciatic neuralgia). The close relationship between focality and sciatica could be demonstrated (Ki2 = 7.66% with probability 1% and p = 0.0056; Ki2 Yates corrected = 6.17% with probability 5% and p = 0.0130).
– The study was made c/o the Research Center of Integrated Clinical Posturology - Brescia (I) from January 2006 to December 2008; it confirmed that the Neuraltherapy (procaine hydrochloride 1% or 2%) associated with Homotoxicological therapy is effective in treating low back pain and sciatic neuralgia in 87% of the cases treated with up to one year follow-up [for sinus focus: Sinusitis frontalis Nosode AP (1 ampoule sublingual / week) + Lymphomyosot® (10 drops x3/die) + Euphorbium comp. s (10 drops x3/die) + Meridian Komplex n°12 (10 drops x3/die); for odontogenic focus: specific Nosode for the focality (1 ampoule sublingual/week) + Lymphomyosot® (10 drops x3/die) + Meridian Komplex n°12 (10 drops x3/die ].

To understand the energetic relationship between TMJ and internal organs we must remember that, according to Voll, the regulation points of the TMJ are TR 23, that links to upper side of the articulation and 2E related to TMJ inferior side. The Author intends to relate diseases and symptoms of the patiens to EAV’s reports and to kynesiologic test results in the patients that had a structural defect connected to TMJ functional or degenerative pathology.

Among the causes of increased intestinal permeability, some are particularly widespread and frequent, such as stress and the use of NSAID, with or without pump inhibitors. All these are associated with increased intestinal permeability, which makes it an extremely widespread phenomenon, especially in Western populations. Hence, the need to identify treatments that can prevent or treat the damage of the intestinal barrier. Numerous studies, including the last one conducted at the Biomedical Science Department of the University of Milan (Italy) have shown the capacity of the association of colostrum with Noni (Morinda citrifolia) stimulating the repair of the intestinal barrier and the immune-modulating ability.

Abstract Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and other disorders included in the metabolic syndrome (MS)... more Abstract
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and other disorders included in the metabolic syndrome (MS) show common pathogenetic factors including a status of chronic low-grade inflammation (CLGI). Recent insights have generated an interesting new perspective introducing the possibility that our microbiota might be involved in the development of these disorders, causing a chronic low-grade inflammatory status and metabolic handling of the host. The relationship between microbiota and host is very complex and is based on a mutual influence. Accordingly, dietary composition and caloric intake seem to alter normal intestinal microbial composition and function, causing effects on the immune system of the host and its metabolic regulation. Several findings have shown that a number of environmental associated factors, damaging the permeability of the intestinal barrier, can facilitate the constant transition of small amounts of bacterial endotoxins in the circulation able to activate, in different organs and tissues, the innate immunity receptors (PRRs), leading to the appearance of a low-grade systemic inflammation. Furthermore, in recent years, the pathogenetic role of PRRs and innate immunity in cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome has become increasingly clear, proving to be the link between intestinal dysbiosis and CLGI.
