The parameters such as Bandwidth, Return loss and VSWR are much improved in proposed antenna than simple MPA without defected ground structure. Finite Element Machine (FEM) based High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software Version-13.0 is used to obtain the performance parameters of the proposed antenna. A comparison is also shown for the proposed antenna with the antenna structure without defect. The proposed antenna resonates in C-band at frequency of 6.0718 GHz with bandwidth of 132.3 MHz. A very good return loss of-46.75 dB is obtained for I-Shaped Defected Ground Structure (DGS). Also I-shaped DGS in the ground plane found to give a size reduction of about 5%.

The proposed antenna consists of C-shaped slot incorporated in ground plane which resonates at two different frequencies (fr1 and fr2) of 7.41 GHz and 9.28 GHz which lie in C-band and X-band respectively. A very good return loss (S11) of-30.79 dB and-40.75 dB are obtained at first and second resonant frequencies respectively for C-shaped DGS antenna. The Bandwidth of C-shaped DGS antenna is increased by 825 MHz and 1182.8 MHz respectively at two different bands than the bandwidth of the Conventional Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna (CRMPA). Also VSWR is much improved with C-shaped DGS antenna. The comparison of simulated results of proposed and CRMPA has also been presented in this paper. The main contribution of this paper is the miniaturization of ground plane of 23 % using C-shaped DGS which is very much en...

This development was made possible only because of advances in the treatment of the wound, vascular injury, and skin loss. Current warfare is characterized by the increased survival of casualties despite their catastrophic, predominantly explosion-related limb injuries. The incidence of associated skeletal and vascular injury and of severe muscle and skin loss in individuals is unprecedented. Every small gain in function is important in the rehabilitation of these patients. Work at the War Nerve Injury Clinic is integrated with the rehabilitation process. It provides early and accurate diagnosis and prognosis and enhances recovery by further operations that prove necessary in 50% of the patients seen. The most common indication was neuropathic pain, the response of pain to treatment, and in particular, generally good neurostenalgia.

The proposition consolidates investigation of fundamentals of microstrip patch antenna. A progression of simulation in Ansoft HFSS (High Frequency System Simulation) has been carried out to discover the dual operating frequency. The qualities of the patch antenna rely on its different geometrical parameters. The investigation is carried in terms of two prime factors: Return loss and radiation pattern.
