The meaningfulness of a material can be reached in various ways. One of them is learning Physics which is not only concerned with theory but also needs a strategy to be able to solve the problems in it. Thus, Physics can be comprehensively understood by students who learn it. Students as prospective teachers are expected to be able to study physics thoroughly, one of which is through problem-based learning in order to have problem-solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile description of the problem-solving ability of prospective physics teacher students in the Kapita Selekta School Physics II course through problem-based learning. Batik training given for youth Karangtaruna RT 7 RW 9 Gemah, Pedurungan, Semarang City to improve... more Batik training given for youth Karangtaruna RT 7 RW 9 Gemah, Pedurungan, Semarang City to improve their knowledge and skills in opening opportunities for entrepreneurship. The method used to achieve this goal is by training more demonstrations, question and answer and practice as well as mentoring. The training material is presented with more practice than theory, with a ratio of 25% theory and 75% practice. The results of the training show that youth Karangtaruna RT 7 RW 9 Gemah, Pedurungan, Semarang City have an understanding and skills in batik cap, namely: knowledge of batik and entrepreneurship, the process of stamping batik and mending motifs, the batik coloring process, the fixation process, the pelorodan process, and finishing. Participants who previously did not know the technique of making batik understood and were able to practice the batik process. This is shown by the work produced by the community service participants.

The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristic map of science material content in J... more The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristic map of science material content in Junior School which can be optimized using inquiry learning model to tone the science process skill. The research method used in the form of qualitative research on SMP science curriculum document in Indonesia. Documents are reviewed on the basis of the basic competencies of each level as well as their potential to trace the skills of the science process using inquiry learning models. The review was conducted by the research team. The results obtained, science process skills in grade 7 have the potential to be trained using the model of inquiry learning by 74%, 8th grade by 83%, and grade 9 by 75%. For the dominant process skills in each chapter and each level is the observing skill. Follow-up research is used to develop instructional inquiry tools to trace the skills of the science process.

This study aims to determine the profile of the mastery of computational thinking skills of State... more This study aims to determine the profile of the mastery of computational thinking skills of State Junior High School students throughout the city of Semarang with the benefit of being a benchmark for innovation or development of learning models oriented to mastering the computational thinking skills of State Junior High School students in the city of Semarang. This research was conducted in 15 public junior high schools in the city of Semarang on March 25, 2022 - April 30, 2022. The sample in the study amounted to 15 public junior high schools from a population of 45 public junior high schools in the city of Semarang. Data were taken using a free test instrument to measure students' computational thinking skills and teacher questionnaires to obtain information related to learning science in schools.
