disease prevention and family planning. The epidemiological transformations in Brazil, the change... more disease prevention and family planning. The epidemiological transformations in Brazil, the changes in women's living standards, the expansion of concepts about Women's Health (BRASIL, 2004) and the movements for the implementation of public policies that meet their demands translate the uniqueness of a moment of significant transformations. Therefore, this study presents a bibliographical review on the subject of women's health with students, in order to identify characteristics, methodologies used and how this approximation of students with the subject occurs. The research resulted in six empirical articles published between 2018-2022, in online journals, with qualis A1 and A2 in teaching, according to criteria of the coordination for the improvement of higher education personnel-CAPES. It was found that the reviewed actions bring the importance of meaningful teaching, based on active methodologies, with the use of information technologies on content that is relevant and of interest to adolescents. Likewise, the important role of the family as a primary source in the search for information on the topic under study was observed.

A new polarization calibration technique for a large phased array with maximum baseline approximately=220 Km

The multi-element radio-linked interferometer network (MERLIN) is an array of six 25 m dishes connected by microwave links with maximum telescope separation of 217 km, recording both left and right hand circular polarisation (LCP, RCP) at ≈128 Mbits/second in real-time. Accurate calibration is difficult because of phase-instabilities of the incoming wavefront caused by ionospheric and tropospheric effects. In addition, crosstalk between LCP and RCP channels in the MERLIN receivers corrupts the signals and is equivalent to an elliptical feed response. The aim of the calibration process is to reconstruct the LCP and RCP phase and amplitude information and to solve for feed crosstalk which can be corrected in off-line data processing. The standard strategy is to derive corrections from observations of different radio sources with known polarisation characteristics

During the three VLBI sessions conducted so far, we observed about 80 sources. Preliminary data analyzed from the first part of the survey shows that at least 17 out of 50 sources have compact components with a size smaller than 30 mas.

Do estudo, emergiram três categorias: interdisciplinaridade: ainda é difícil, porém, busca-se a construção conjunta; currículo: velhos problemas, novas perspectivas; e atividade interdisciplinar implementada. Espera-se que esta investigação possa oferecer uma contribuição significativa na melhoria dos programas de formação continuada de professores nas questões referentes ao currículo. Palavras-chave: Currículo. Formação continuada de professores. Interdisciplinaridade. Pacto Nacional pelo Fortalecimento do Ensino Médio.

VLA observations of selected FR-II jets (3C208, 3C352, 3C434, 3C9 and 3C14) between 5 and 15 GHz ... more VLA observations of selected FR-II jets (3C208, 3C352, 3C434, 3C9 and 3C14) between 5 and 15 GHz are used to derive astrophysical properties in the jets of these radio sources. We interpret the results as giving support for unifying schemes of radio galaxies and quasars. We have also determined the Faraday rotation for jets and counter-jet sides. Rotation measures are used to constrain the internal density and mach numbers of the jets, obtaining values similar to those of quasar jets but higher than those of radio galaxies. The radio brightness can be explained by doppler boosting of the synchrotron radiation, giving evidence for orientation effects as an origin for the Laing-Garrington effect.

Some preliminary results are briefly discussed. These results are part of an ongoing observational campaign to obtain the best radio maps of bright OH/IR stars with MERLIN, VLA and VLBA, in order to understand the nature and dynamics of their circumstellar matter and evolution.
