A NARRATIVA TRANSVIVENCIAL DE OSMAN LINS, 2019
This research proposes to analyze the literary work from the writer Osman Lins, born in Pernambu... more This research proposes to analyze the literary work from the writer Osman Lins, born
in Pernambuco, Brazil, in the light of the concept of 'Trans experiential Narrative'.
This would be a fluid and organic concept established from the critique of concepts
related to self-writing, specifically the Lejeune's Autobiography, Doubrovsky's
Autofiction, and Arfuch's experiential Narrative. Seaking to outline the ideia of
covenant and identity, this research establishes the elements of the transvivencial
narrative the ideas of "event" and "experience" defined by the French philosopher
Claude Romano and the idea of "agency" according to Deleuze and Guattari. Based
on this, the research is organized into four chapters: the first chapter analyzes the
definition of Lejeuene's Autobiography, some ideas and nomenclatures linked to
Autofiction, and the idea of Leonor Arfuch's trans experiencial narrative, continues
defining the fundamentals of Trans experiencial Narrative based on concepts of
"experience" and "happening" of Claude Romano and the "agency" of Deleuze and
Guattari, establishing the concept of temporality that operates in the trans
experiential Narrative, called retro-projetive temporality; the second chapter analyzes
the journals written by Lins, Marinheiro de primeira viajem and Las Paz existe?,
going on to the study of the Avalovara novel, as a work that synthesizes the writer's
adventure, in which he highlights the three experiences that operate predominantly in
all his works; the third and fourth chapters focus on the analysis of the fictional works
of Osman Lins, and the third chapter highlights the experiences related to the writer's
birth, the childhood in the small town of Vitória de Santo Antão and the departure to
Recife. The fourth chapter emphasizes the experiences in the capital of Pernambuco,
the first trip to Europe, the discomforts of bureaucratic life, transfigured encounters,
aspects related to oppression, ending with the analysis of the text as an inauguration
of senses that transforms the writer into a character of his work: the 'author'.
