L'invention concerne des (co)polymeres de butene-1 caracterises par les proprietes suivantes:... more L'invention concerne des (co)polymeres de butene-1 caracterises par les proprietes suivantes: le contenu d'unites butene-1 sous la forme de pentades isotactiques (mmmm) est compris entre 25 et 55 %; la viscosite intrinseque [?] mesuree dans la tetraline a 135 °C est comprise entre 1 et 3dL/g; le contenu de fraction insoluble dans le xylene a 0 °C est compris entre 3 et 60 %; et un rapport ES2/ES1=1, dans lequel ES1 represente la fraction soluble d'oxyde de diethyle en ebullition determinee sur le polymere en tant que tel et ES2 est la fraction soluble d'oxyde de diethyle en ebullition determinee apres broyage du polymere. Les (co)polymeres de butene-1 presentent un bon equilibre entre leur aptitude a la transformation et leur comportement elastomere.

A study of the nucleating effects of isotactic poly(trimethylallylsilane) (iPTMAS) and poly(vinyl... more A study of the nucleating effects of isotactic poly(trimethylallylsilane) (iPTMAS) and poly(vinylcyclohexane) (iPVCH) for isotactic polypropylene (iPP) and their influence on the mechanical behavior of iPP is reported. The particles of catalyst are covered by poly(trimethylallylsilane) or poly(vinylcyclohexane) by polymerization of the corresponding monomers before polymerization of propylene. The method guarantees that the nucleating agents are perfectly dispersed into the iPP samples, with their consequent high efficiency. Isotactic poly(vinylcyclohexane) and poly(trimethylallylsilane) favor crystallization from the melt of α and β forms, respectively. Both nucleating agents affect the morphology greatly reducing the size of shperulites. This in turn affects the mechanical properties improving ductility and flexibility.
