It is considered in Islam to be a religious obligation, and in terms of importance in Quranic standing, it is next in line after prayer. Zakat is thus a way for the people to channel their wealth to those who are less fortunate. Zakat is due for a Muslim when one's Zakatable wealth increases to a minimum threshold or nisab and also once a lunar year or hawl passes while one's Zakatable wealth withstands the lowest threshold. A Muslim only pays Zakat when they have been in possession of the nisab (minimum amount of wealth) for a period of at least a full lunar year. The payment of Zakat is strongly influenced by the value of individual religiosity as a basic form of attitude and knowledge to show obedience. The emergence of a policy to pay Zakat can help to reduce taxes for taxpayers in Indonesia, which is one of the efforts made to grow the productivity of Zakat. Zakat and taxes are very dependent on their...

Identification of hip dysplasia is fairly arbitrary since there is not a defined procedure for diagnosis. Since hyaline cartilage is slow to regenerate, tissue engineering alternatives have not yet been perfected, and arthroplasty failure occurrs 10 to 15 years following implantation, one of the best treatment options in younger and active patients with abnormal hip geometry remains surgical intervention. The development of an objective function, whereby a surgeon could straightforwardly prescribe the appropriate reconstruction technique, could be an important step to better understanding hip dysplasia and its role in the development of OA. This thesis proposes a reconsideration of the terms used to quantify and describe hip abnormality. A hypothesis for an objective function for surgical planning, and the development of the testing apparatu...

Republic of Indonesia, with 17.508 islands and the length of coastal line 81.000 Km, has made it ... more Republic of Indonesia, with 17.508 islands and the length of coastal line 81.000 Km, has made it become the largest maritime country in the world. The large marine or sea territory with the potential resources in it, either the natural resources or the mineral resources worth high in economy and prospective to be one of the potential source of national income and development capital. Unfortunately, for more than fifty years, this potential natural resource has not been managed optimally yet. Ironically, most of the marine coastal society which consist majority as fishermen and the sectors which depend on other marine coastal activities are claimed as poor ones. Besides, the degradation of environment quality, illegal fishing, the marine sovereignty trespassing/collision, and the disturbance of security in the sea have been the real phenomena. One of the break through efforts of the government, especially to manage its marine coastal resources in order to create the social welfare in coastal regions, is by holding Marine Coastal Resources Management Project which started in 2002 and over in 2006. The programmes of this project are: to make the strategic planning of marine coastal resources management, zoning regulation, marine coastal commodities/products management, community empowerment and also environment preservation in marine coastal regions. Based on the argumentation above, has attracted and become the background for the writer to hold the research about the implementation of Marine Coastal Management Project. The type of this research is descriptive by using the qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of this project, its advantages for marine coastal society, the participation and the role of marine coastal society and their opinion about the attitude and the role of the actors of this project, and the obstacles of the project implementation. Therefore, in this research which was held for 4 months, the writer did not make or examine the hypothesis, but only described the interview, data, photo and the facts, and then interpreted and analyzed them. Based on this research, the implementation of Marine Coastal Resources Management Project in Langkat Regency has not been optimal yet. This condition is caused that the project has not reached some targets which were planned before. The missing targets are: The central and the local government have not made any database in fishery and marine sector, lack of coordination among institutions and stakeholders, weak in law enforcement because of the limited security personals and appliances/equipments (Navy and Marine Police), lack of zoning socialization, the poor infrastructures and facilities to support the marine and fishery sector and the planning analysis and aid programmes have not been used and done so effectively that missed its targets. The government policy in reducing the public subsidy of fuel price, caused the fuel price, the operational cost of fishermen and the cost of life higher than before, meanwhile the price of fishery commodities are still low. Therefore, the writer suggested the long term programme with the accurate analysis which is supported by the integrative database. It needs coordination among the institutions and stakeholders and participation and tight control from all stake holders in order to increase the quality of marine coastal management, so the economic situation will be prospective and the welfare can exist besides the fishery and marine sector becomes the one of the most potential income source in the future, especially in globalization era.
