This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of methanolic fruit extract of Annona muricata (MFEAM) on breast cancer histology and invasive cell of MNU-induced breast cancer mice. Fifty female albino mice were divided into five groups (of ten each): control; MNU-induced breast cancer; MNU-induced breast cancer + (MFEAM) 200 mg/kg, MNU-induced breast cancer + (MFEAM) 300 mg/kg and MNU-induced breast cancer + (MFEAM) 500 mg/kg. The research indicates that breast cancer invasive ductal carcnoma(IDC) developed in the MNU-induced breast cancer group. The control group showed normal duct structure. The (MFEAM)-treated group showed lower invasive (DCIS) compared with the untreated cancer group. We concluded that (MFEAM), that improved the histological changes of breast cancerinduced MNU. Also (MFEAM) reduced proliferative epitheal cell of breast cancer-induced MNU and the most effective dose was 300 mg/kg. The present study concluded that the methanol extracts derived from Annona muricata fruit potentially exhibit antitumor activity.

This work was performed to detect INF gamma gene sequence in the DNA of AL-ousi breed,. and in association with ovine abortion caused by Brucella melitensis. The cytokine gene expression, analyzed by PCR, was performed to explore the immunological regulatory mechanisms of IFN-γ on and its effect on abortion. The results indicated the presence of amplified fragment around ~340 bp in length compared to the ~55 bp that was predicted ,also, the level of DNA expression was the highest in placenta of normal delivered group and the lowest in aborted placental .

Research paper thumbnail of Molecular Detection of Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha (TNF- a) Gene in Mycotic aborted Placenta of Ewes Using RT-PCR

Medico-Legal Update, 2021

Background: Abortion is associated with altered inflammatory molecule expression at the maternal-... more Background: Abortion is associated with altered inflammatory molecule expression at the maternal-fetal interface. (TNF-alpha) are inflammatory proteins and display cytokine as a function that enhances the leukocyte recruitment to the inflammatory site. Objectives: This work aimed at establishing the TNF-alpha gene expression in mycotic aborted placental animals as opposed to normal delivery. Materials and Method: Using the technique Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), TNF-α DNA, tested in the mycotic aborted Placenta group (15 cases), normal delivery group (15 cases). Results: The levels of TNF-α DNA expressed in the Placenta varied significantly between the two groups (P<0.05), respectively. The expression of TNF during abortion was significantly higher than in normally delivered models. Conclusion: These findings indicate that both cytokines Th1 and Th2 play a key role in the pathogenesis of abortion. TNF alpha is likely a source of abortion's genetic susceptibility. There had been a strong correlation between the two cytokines and abortion.
