This research is aimed to determine the components of intimacy attitude in university students. Method: In revised Intimacy Attitude Scale (RDAS) which originally developed by Amidon et al., (1983) it was argued that the intimacy attitude components are General intimacy, Fear of Rejection/Loss of Control in interpersonal intimacy and Sexual Physical Closeness. In present study, 521 university students entered the research to study the psychometric properties and validation of RDAS. Results: The Cronbach’s alpha was 0.84 and test-retest correlation was 0.83. Results of factor analysis supported the four specific structure components with different sub scales. Multivariate analysis of variance corroborated that intimacy attitude is very similar in different sexes and ages ...

Method: On this way, 30 subjects with OCD by means of simple random sampling method, were selected and placed in two experimental and control group of fifteen (15) people. All the subjects filled up the short form of MMPI questionnaire in two stages, pre-test and post-test. The open-ended writing of the writing disclosure method, were instructed to the experimental group members, but the control group did not receive such this training. Results: Data analysis with ANCOVA method, in significant rate of P<0/001 has shown that the writing disclosure has positive effect in reducing the severity of symptoms of OCD and depression of individual with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Conclusion: By paying attention to the results of the present research, the writing disclosure method can be known as a low-cost, efficient, and effective method with extensive and easy usage, in improving both OCD and depression and would be suggested to psychotherapists to use this method for people with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Some instructional designers recommend situated learning for the solution. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of situated learning on students' school motivation and achievement. The two main hypotheses are: 1- Situated learning increases learning. 2- Situated learning increases school motivation. Thirty four psychology junior students at Payame Noor University, Tehran, Iran participated in the study. Classes were randomly selected for situated learning curriculum and lecturebased curriculum. Lecture-based curriculum was performed in face to face classroom. Situated learning was carried out in blended learning approach. Data was collected by school achievement test and the short form of Mc Inerney and Sinclaier standard motivation questionnaire, before and after interventions. Statistical analysis was done by SPSS software version 15. It was shown that situated learning increased academic achievement (p<0.001) and motivation (p<0.001) in comparison to lecture- based learning and can serve as a good method in instructional programs.

Materials and Methods : A total of 107 (40 males, 67 females) IBS patients diagnosed according to Rome III criteria who referred to the Gastroenterology Clinic at Baqiyatallah Hospital in 1389 enrolled in this study. Enrolled patients completed a revised version of the short-form SF-MPQ-2 which had been translated into Farsi. To evaluate the validity of SF-MPQ-2 questionnaire, an exploratory factor analysis was performed. For assessment of reliability, we used Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the split-half method test. Results : Factor analysis denoted a three-factor model that included perceptions of pain sensation, emotional pain and neuropathic pain. The validity of the SF-MPQ-2 was satisfactory according to factor analysis. A comparison between patients with pain and those without pain provided evidence that supported the criterion validity of the questionnaire. Evidence was also adequate to support the content validity of the questionnaire as a measure of pain in IBS patients. The reliability of the scales was also acceptable. Conclusion : The findings showed acceptable reliability and validity for the revised version of the short-form SF-MPQ-2 in confirming the presence of IBS.

In view of policy mandates exist to spur improvements in children's health it is pivotal to register children's deaths abundantly. Critical paucity in registration of children death cases even in the developed world may lead to infelicitous interpretation of the data and a systematic bias in cause-specific mortality analysis. This study was carried out to envisage the validity of the current data recording pattern in the only referral children's hospital in Tabriz the capital city of EastAzarbaidjan province, North West of Iran. Data about the age, sex, living place and recorded cause of death for deceased children were collected over 5 years from 21 st March 2007 to 19 th March 2012 to inspire proportionately if mortality data recording quality adhered to standard guidelines. We found 670 registered death cases of them 56.4% (378) were boy and 42.4% (292) girl. In 8.4% (56) of the cases mortality was occurred in the first day of life, 50.3% (227) in the first 25 days of life and about 76.0% (509) before the age of 5 months. All 670 cases of deaths were attributed to 100 causes and a considerable inconsistency was observed in the recorded causes of death compared to the international standard guidelines. Findings of this study exposed a major failure in practicing evidence based guidelines to report children's mortality. Urgent needs exist to improve the quality of mortality statistics in the Iranian teaching hospitals.
