Through partnering concept of collaboration, the organization will gain the benefits in terms of the project successfully run according to the time, cost and quality. The understanding of this concept of partnering is crucial for the clients in the construction project, without this knowledge of partnering concept the client will suffer cost overruns, delay, more variation order and dispute in the project implementation. The study conducted using a quantitative approach and involved the sampling from public and private clients. The main result indicates that that the public clients and private client understood the concept of partnering. Public clients agreed that specific projects require partnering with contractors. This study aims to provide an overview on the elderly housing preferences of the Malaysian generations. The objectives of this study are: (i) To define elderly; (ii) To identify the elderly housing preferences features; and (iii) To determine the elderly housing preferences by different age group (generations). The study adopts mixed-method strategy and revealed; (i) Health; (ii) Safety; (iii) Convenience; (iv) Amenity; and (v) Community as the preferred elderly housing features. This technique is suitable and benefits to the various client such as public and private sector to evaluate the realistic costing proposed by the Quantity Surveyor. Through this approach, quality of life received by the client in investing budget without waste of propose funding in the construction project. The methodology used is a qualitative approach consist of case study and document analysis. The result shows through Monte Carlo simulation, can predict the worst return from the accuracy of the estimation and given absolute confidence for project development. Methodology: Using the quantitative method, the questionnaires, constructed based on external and internal variables were distributed to the selected respondents. The analysis of the data is conducted with simple SPSS analysis to identify the mean, median and standard deviation. The ranking of the variables is drawn from the results. Results: The outcome of this research has found that the crucial external limitations are penalty to the foreigners and that market legislation requires limitation in the sharing proportion. Meanwhile, for the internal limitation the ownership control and rate fluctuation should be followed with certain marking lines. This paper is to identify the challenges at each tier between players to facilitate supply chain integration among the IBS players. Findings adopted from semi-structured interview revealed the critical attitude issues of human factors, lack of interaction and sharing knowledge between interdisciplinary people. However, the fragmentation and adversarial relationships among players in the IBS supply chain has been identified as the major obstacles in the IBS construction project delivery and environment. The main research will look into the challenges of IBS supply chains in the project procurement delivery. This paper will present the results from semi-structured interviews conducted on key IBS supply chain players with interesting outcomes which include the critical challenges on behavioural issues of attitude, relationship and communication.
