Moreover, it has been shown overtime that human’s behavioural qualities may have a possible effect on interaction with people. All of these concerns necessitate this study. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between affectivity, social adjustment and Nigerian librarians’ user relation. Method: The authors adopt correlational research design and web-based questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. Purposive sampling technique was adopted for the study. The total response rate was 178. Findings: It was found in the study that negative affectivity such as threat and hostility have poor effect on user relation. There has been observed low practice of conscious knowledge management among Nigerian law firms a... more There has been observed low practice of conscious knowledge management among Nigerian law firms and there is no evidence on how knowledge transfer and use predict their performance. Hence, this study examined knowledge transfer and use as predictors of Nigerian law firm performance. The study adopts descriptive survey research design and web-based questionnaire as instrument for data collection. There was total response of 205 from the survey. It was found that Nigerian lawyers transfer knowledge through platforms such as meetings, training, workshops/seminars and collaboration. Results show that Nigerian lawyers use knowledge to improve innovative thinking, enhance performance, maximize financial performance and improve client’s satisfaction. Results show that there is statistically significant relationship between knowledge transfer and law firm’s performance. Background of the study: This study examines users’ education as correlates of library resources ... more Background of the study: This study examines users’ education as correlates of library resources utilization by undergraduates’ in selected universities in Kwara State. The study identified five (5) research questions and two (2) research hypotheses. Purpose: The study adopted descriptive where set of questionnaire were used to collect data. Stratified random sampling technique was used for this study, it was a sampling technique considered appropriate because the researcher intend to divide the two universities into strata, that is, faculty and college making a total of 15 and 5 faculties/colleges in University of Ilorin and Kwara State University respectively. Raosoft calculator was used to select sample size of the study at 95 % level of confidence. So, the total population for this study thus 382. It has been observed that faculty members of Kwara State University (KWASU) in Malete, Nigeria, p... more It has been observed that faculty members of Kwara State University (KWASU) in Malete, Nigeria, publish in journals based on some factors and considerations. These factors and considerations guide their choice of publishing in journals. The aim of this study was to show the factors and considerations influencing KWASU faculty members’ decision to publish with journals. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, with a web-survey questionnaire as data collection instrument. The population for the study was 482, of whom 192 respondents responded positively, representing 39.8% of the total population. A quantitative analysis was done of data collected, using the automatically-generated analysis from Google Forms. The hypothesis was tested using Microsoft Excel.
