Abstract. Knowledge-Rich Contexts Extraction in Specialized Corpora The term banks and dictionaries are valuable resources that improve access to knowledge in specialized domains. These resources are often relatively poor and do not always provide, for a given term, examples of its typicall use. In th...

We followed a language-independent approach to summarization for this task. In particular, we tried to remove the following dependences to language: sentence segmentation, word segmentation, stop-word lists, and word-level relevance assessment. We applied these modifications to an MMR-based system and observed little degradation on English data. The submitted system had a bug that impeded all official results, therefore we propose in this paper an updated set of results with relevant analysis.

Then they describe the most influential works and techniques in the field of automatic multilingual and language-independent summarization. This section is presented as a solution to solve the problem already explained. The authors present several language independent approaches and used techniques. In the next section, they study the behavior of these methods by discussing their limitations and perspectives.

What are the specific individual factors associated with the performance of such teachers? We draw on on-going work to identify the correlates of innovative work performance of government school teachers. It was hypothesized that intrinsic motivation and creative self-efficacy were high correlates of workplace innovative performance, openness to experience and proactivity, perceived job complexity and learning orientation of teachers were moderate correlates, and demographic factors were weak correlates. Three hundred and forty seven teachers were selected by systematic circular random sampling from 5650 teachers whose work had been peer-rated for innovativeness and performance. Intrinsic motivation of teachers was found to ...

Innovative peer-teachers may be more closely aligned with the correlates of teacher innovative behavior than experts, and hence their participation in such panels might make the process more robust. Hence, the authors ask, “Do expert and peer assessments relate to individual-related correlates of innovative teacher behavior differently?”Design/methodology/approachInnovations of 347 teachers in India were assessed by an expert panel and a peer-teacher panel using the consensual technique of rating innovations. Structural equation modeling was used to study the relationships of the ratings with the innovative teachers' self-reported creative self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, learning orientation and proactive personality.FindingsExpert ratings were significantly related to creativ...

Indeed, many translators confirm that an error on terminology has a major impact on their work. Thus, a revision phase is necessary to validate the initial translation proposed by the translator. This paper deals with the assisted terminological revision in specialized translation from English to French. We propose a new generation of bilingual con-cordancers that takes as input a term and its translation, and provides not parallel but aligned Knowledge-Rich Contexts from specialized comparable corpora. Both the manual evaluation and a real experiment with student revisers show that our concordancer actually assists revisers despite the difficulty of the task.

However his life in Portugal was not trouble‑free and the family had to fi nd refuge in exile . His book Poema a la Reina Ester, Lamentaciones del Profeta Jeremias, Historia de Rut y Otras Poesias (1627) was dedicated to Richelieu and has a paraliturgical character . His choice of themes points to a message from and to the converses . Viewed as a pilgrim's path, his work ranges over the people's salvation, lamentations for the fall of the Temple, the union of the people through to Ruth, the convert and David the messianic king, and fi the poems dedicated to the exodus from Egypt and the return to the Holy Land . It is as a personal and collective path search, essentially messianic in nature .

A patent review has been carried out. Automatic control systems using a vortex regulator are considered. Based on the analysis and preliminary numerical calculation of gas flow in the working cavity of the regulator, a new design of a vortex gas pressure regulator has been developed. An experimental sample of the device was made using additive technologies and a number of tests were carried out. The results of experimental studies confirmed the adequacy of the created mathematical model. Based on further numerical studies a new design of a vortex regulator with a distributed feed of the process control flow as well as with the regulated swirl of the supply and control process flows has been developed. The present paper describes the applications of vortex regulators and the current state of the issue on the use and development of such devices.
