A group of youth organizations members are trying to minimize the accumulation of waste. The youth group collects and sorts waste to clean up the environment and then sells it at a fairly cheap price. Even though inorganic waste can be used to become objects that have a high selling value. Therefore, we provide training on processing plastic waste into bags. Keaktifan siswa kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Malang rata-rata masih 60% dari total keseluruhan sis... more Keaktifan siswa kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Malang rata-rata masih 60% dari total keseluruhan siswa yang ada dengan KKM sekolah yaitu 75. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut perlunya dilakukan perbaikan proses pembelajaran pada siswa dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat ikut berperan aktif. Sehingga "Apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa?" Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 5 Malang tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 3 dengan obyek penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: (1)Plan, (2)Act, (3) observe, (4) reflect. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah (1) Observasi, (2) Angket, 3) Wawancara, (4) Tes, (5) Dokumentasi. Sedangkan Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data yaitu kegiatan pemilihan data, penyederhanaan data serta transformasi data kasar dari hasil catatan lapangan. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Malang dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 5 Malang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Hal ini terbukti dengan meningkatnya keaktifan siswa dari setiap siklusnya yaitu sebelum pembelajaran (0%), siklus I meningkat (21,01%), siklus II meningkat (30,56%), dan siklus III meningkat (50,46%). Kesimpulan tersebut memberikan implikasi bahwa, guru mampu memotivasi siswa agar aktif selama pembelajaran berlangsung.

Guru TPQ di sini umumnya telah mengajar selama 5 tahun atau lebih. Sementara itu, pengalaman di bidang pelatihan yang relevan dengan profesinya masih sangat terbatas. Latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman mengajar, pelatihan yang relevan, dan keterampilan yang kurang memadai mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru di bidang ini, sebagian besar orang tua menginginkan anaknya menjadi melek huruf dan berhitung. Salah satu alasan di balik tingginya permintaan ini adalah persiapan anak-anak untuk memasuki sekolah dasar. The purpose of this study is to describe students' thinking processes in constructing the names o... more The purpose of this study is to describe students' thinking processes in constructing the names of the fraction in circular, rectangular and number line representations by using APOS Theory (Action, Process, Object, and Scheme). For that purpose, the researcher used qualitative research approach. The subject of this research is the students of class XI in Malang. The process of collecting data begins with giving the questions to the subject to be completed. Then the students are interviewed to reinforce the answers that have given. From the performance of the subject and results of the interview, the data are analyzed using indicators of APOS Theory is action, process, object, and scheme. The results of this study indicate that for the thinking process students with circle representation S1 reached the stage of the scheme, while for S2 and S3 only reached the stage of the process. With the rectangular representation, S1 and S2 reach the stage of the scheme, but different with S3, S3 that reached the stage of the process. Moreover, the thinking process by using the number line representation S1, S2 and S3 can reach the stage of the scheme. To construct the name of the fraction with a circle and rectangular representation the subject is using the whole-part concept and area model of the fraction. As for the representation that uses the number line the subject using the concept of measurement and associates it with the length model in constructing the name of the fraction.

This study aims to gain several ways of advancing students' creative thinking skills through STEM education based on the learning process. This study uses a literature review method with big data from several online database resources. There are several necessary skills needed for employees to face the tighten workforce competition. Creative thinking skills are very crucial for the worker to increase their productivity in the revolution industry 4.0 era. The lecturer needs to design a curriculum with the newest techniques that are ensuring all components of STEM are met with student's' creative thinking skills development. Finally, some suggestions were proposed for future research on reforming and delivering the STEM content to enhance vocational students' creative thinking skills.

This study uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Correspondents in this study include the Chairperson of the Student Internship Program, Vice Principal of Public Relations, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Tutor of Student Internship Program, and Industry Representatives. The technique of collecting data are done by interviews, observations, and documentations. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To maintain the validity of the data, this study uses triangulation data collection techniques and data collection sources. The results of the study show that; 1) planning of vocational student internship program starting from school preparation which includes preparation of cooperation and administration in the form of letters, Memorandum of Understanding, and application proposals for student internship program; 2) The implementation of vocational student internship program includes placement of students in industries that are in accordance with competencies in schools, submission of students to industry, guidance of students by tutor, monitoring of students during practices, and student pick up; and 3) Evaluation of vocational student internship program is carried out by the school and industry.

The study was descriptive explorative. This study was conducted in Mojokerto.The subjects were 25 students, however, only 3 were described since the scaffolding used was of level 2. Data were collected initially by asking the subjects to solve mathematic test items. Error patterns were identified from the students’ works. The students who made errors were chosen as the research subjects. Findings show that there were differences in the students’ thinking patterns before and during the provision of scaffolding. These differences occur due to the different scaffolding treatments according to the thinking errors. For students who have difficulties in understanding problems, the scaffolding is in the form of leading questions. This study aims to gain several ways of advancing students' self-efficacy through STEM education based on the learning process. This study uses a literature review method with big data from several online database resources. There are several techniques that a lecturer can use to deliver STEM in the good direction. The lecturer can enrich the students' prestigious skills by creating out of class learning, display curiosity and shows them something that very interesting, encourage students to ask to develop problem-solving skills, and it very uses full using real-life experiences. On the other hand, self-efficacy was not developed automatically. It needs some treatment for advance students selfefficacy. Finally, some suggestions were proposed for future research on reforming and improving vocational students' selfefficacy.

Based on the results of observations during the learning activities, researchers found the low re... more Based on the results of observations during the learning activities, researchers found the low response of students to the stimulus provided by the lecturer in the form of attention and answer questions from lecturers. Students feel shy, afraid, and lack confidence in expressing opinions and asking things they have not understood. This is due to the lack of students' critical thinking skills. Application of mathematics learning involving ICT (math expert) by implementing SAVI learning model has potential to overcome the low of critical thinking of student. Based on the above description of the purpose of this study is learning SAVI by optimizing Math Expert improve students' critical thinking skills. This research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Research subjects are students who take the courses of Calculus II. Research data in the form of test data of student learning outcomes, and student motivation of SAVI Learning by optimizing Math Expert Program. To maintain the validity of data is done by triangulation activities and peer examination. The study was conducted in two sessions, each stage in this research, namely (1) Somatic; (2) Auditory; (3) Visualization; and (4) Intellectual. The classical increase in the ability to think critically can be seen from the test results conducted before the action and at the end of each session. The average of students' critical thinking skills on the pre-action test was 55.17 (Pre-Categories) on pre-action, 63.80 (Enough Category) in class course I and 79.43 (High Qualification) in class course II. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of SAVI Learning by optimizing Math Expert Program improving students' critical thinking skills.

Guru TPQ di sini umumnya telah mengajar selama 5 tahun atau lebih. Sementara itu, pengalaman di bidang pelatihan yang relevan dengan profesinya masih sangat terbatas. Latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman mengajar, pelatihan yang relevan, dan keterampilan yang kurang memadai mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran matematika. The purpose of this study is to describe students' thinking processes in constructing the names o... more The purpose of this study is to describe students' thinking processes in constructing the names of the fraction in circular, rectangular and number line representations by using APOS Theory (Action, Process, Object, and Scheme). For that purpose, the researcher used qualitative research approach. The subject of this research is the students of class XI in Malang. The process of collecting data begins with giving the questions to the subject to be completed. Then the students are interviewed to reinforce the answers that have given. From the performance of the subject and results of the interview, the data are analyzed using indicators of APOS Theory is action, process, object, and scheme. The results of this study indicate that for the thinking process students with circle representation S1 reached the stage of the scheme, while for S2 and S3 only reached the stage of the process. With the rectangular representation, S1 and S2 reach the stage of the scheme, but different with S3, S3 that reached the stage of the process. Moreover, the thinking process by using the number line representation S1, S2 and S3 can reach the stage of the scheme. To construct the name of the fraction with a circle and rectangular representation the subject is using the whole-part concept and area model of the fraction. As for the representation that uses the number line the subject using the concept of measurement and associates it with the length model in constructing the name of the fraction.

This study uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Correspondents in this study include the Chairperson of the Student Internship Program, Vice Principal of Public Relations, Vice Principal of Curriculum, Tutor of Student Internship Program, and Industry Representatives. The technique of collecting data are done by interviews, observations, and documentations. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To maintain the validity of the data, this study uses triangulation data collection techniques and data collection sources. The results of the study show that; 1) planning of vocational student internship program starting from school preparation which includes preparation of cooperation and administration in the form of letters, Memorandum of Understanding, and application proposals for student internship program; 2) The implementation of vocational student internship program includes placement of students in industries that are in accordance with competencies in schools, submission of students to industry, guidance of students by tutor, monitoring of students during practices, and student pick up; and 3) Evaluation of vocational student internship program is carried out by the school and industry.

The study was descriptive explorative. This study was conducted in Mojokerto.The subjects were 25 students, however, only 3 were described since the scaffolding used was of level 2. Data were collected initially by asking the subjects to solve mathematic test items. Error patterns were identified from the students’ works. The students who made errors were chosen as the research subjects. Findings show that there were differences in the students’ thinking patterns before and during the provision of scaffolding. These differences occur due to the different scaffolding treatments according to the thinking errors. This study uses a literature review method with big data from several online database resources. There are several techniques that a lecturer can use to deliver STEM in the good direction. The lecturer can enrich the students' prestigious skills by creating out of class learning, display curiosity and shows them something that very interesting, encourage students to ask to develop problem-solving skills, and it very uses full using real-life experiences. On the other hand, self-efficacy was not developed automatically. It needs some treatment for advance students selfefficacy. Finally, some suggestions were proposed for future research on reforming and improving vocational students' selfefficacy.

Students feel shy, afraid, and lack confidence in expressing opinions and asking things they have not understood. This is due to the lack of students' critical thinking skills. Application of mathematics learning involving ICT (math expert) by implementing SAVI learning model has potential to overcome the low of critical thinking of student. Based on the above description of the purpose of this study is learning SAVI by optimizing Math Expert improve students' critical thinking skills. This research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Research subjects are students who take the courses of Calculus II. Research data in the form of test data of student learning outcomes, and student motivation of SAVI Learning by optimizing Math Expert Program. To maintain the validity of data is done by triangulation activities and peer examination. The study was conducted in two sessions, each stage in this research, namely (1) Somatic; (2) Auditory; (3) Visualization; and (4) Intellectual. The classical increase in the ability to think critically can be seen from the test results conducted before the action and at the end of each session. The average of students' critical thinking skills on the pre-action test was 55.17 (Pre-Categories) on pre-action, 63.80 (Enough Category) in class course I and 79.43 (High Qualification) in class course II. Thus it can be concluded that the implementation of SAVI Learning by optimizing Math Expert Program improving students' critical thinking skills.
