The research combined archival investigation, critical inquiry and practice-based artistic exploration to gain new perspectives on the ways the development of these devices is intertwined with globalized techno-consumerism and media politics. The four year research is captured in this publication Destructive Circuits, A Machine Archaeology of Improvised Explosive Devices which includes essays, many photos, an interview with Dani Ploeger and work descriptions.
