Conducting at the VII grade in SMPN 1 Batudaa, SMPN 2 Batudaa, and SMP Muhammadiyah Batudaa, this... more Conducting at the VII grade in SMPN 1 Batudaa, SMPN 2 Batudaa, and SMP Muhammadiyah Batudaa, this study aimed to develop and describe the quality of the critical question-based guided inquiry learning model in order to improve students' critical thinking skills on the concepts of temperature and heat. The development method used is Research and Development with a 4D development model, namely define, design, development, and disseminate. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the validation of the guided inquiry learning model based on critical questions is declared valid with minor revisions, 2) the practicality of the learning model is determined by the average percentage of learning implementation that gets a very good category throughout the trial class and the teacher's response model and response. The purpose of this study was to find the positive and significant effect of : 1) formal educatio... more The purpose of this study was to find the positive and significant effect of : 1) formal education (PF) on livestock experience (PB); 2) PF on the seven principles of business breeding super free-range chickens implementation (PSUBAKS); 3) PB towards PSUBAKS; and 4) PF through PB to PSUBAKS. The research was conducted in 29 villages in 8 sub-districts in Bone Bolango Regency. Respondents in total 76 farmers were determined using purposive sampling technique, with descriptive method, as well as hypotesis testing using Structural Equation modeling (SEM) with the help of Partial Least Square (PLS) to find out the positive and significant influence between variable in order to reveal the direct and indirect influence. Keterlibatan aparat desa dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penentuan batas desa windu. Selain itu masyarakat juga dilibatkan untuk mengetahui mata pencaharian dan kegiatan masyarakat yang terkait dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pada akhir kegiatan mahasiswa yang didampingi oleh pembimbing Lapangan menyerahkan secara resmi Peta Potensi Desa Windu yang disaksikan oleh Kepala Desa, Sekretaris Desa, serta Tokoh Agama dan Masyarakat.

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 12 Gorontalo class VIII for 4 meetings. The target of this research is students of class VIII-2 SMP Negeri 12 Gorontalo with a total of 28 students, Odd Semester in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Student activities are measured through student activity observation sheets, then analyzed, grouped and presented through tables. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of guided inquiry-based learning tools can improve student learning activities on the structure and function of plant tissue in class VIII-2 of SMP Negeri 12 Gorontalo. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan desain penelitian R & D oleh Borg and Gall. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang terdiri dari validitas rencana pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, hasil belajar yang diperoleh dengan memberikan tes formatif, hasil observasi terhadap keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran, dianalisis setelah pembelajaran dilaksanakan, dengan melihat hasil tes yang diberikan, yaitu menunjukkan 70% siswa tuntas (75) dalam pembelajaran, setiap diadakan tes. The research was designed by using Dick and Carey (2005) learning developement design, and it was conducted through 3 learning steps which is adapted from Carin (1993), they are: 1) guided discovery, 2) less structured guided discovery, 3) free discovery. The data was qualitative and quantitative data consist of learning tools validity, the result of the learning process by giving the formative test to the students, observation result to learning process and students thinking skill, and feedback information from the students, it was analysis after the learning process. This development research produce a Lesson Plan (RPP) and Worksheet Students (LKPD) based on Guid... more This development research produce a Lesson Plan (RPP) and Worksheet Students (LKPD) based on Guided Inquiry on the material Cell Division for students Class XII SMA Limboto Barat. Development aims to find out the quality, feasibility of RPP and LKPD based on aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Product development follow the steps of the R&D development model, namely the research step and the development step. The product was assessed by three validators with an assessment instrument. The results of development research show that the validity aspect of RPP obtains very valid criteria with an average score of 43.67 and LKPD obtains a very valid criterion with an average score of 198.67. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis model pembelajaran inkuiri terbim... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan yang valid. Pengembangan bahan ajar menggunakan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) sampai pada uji coba terbatas. Validitas bahan ajar ditentukan berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh empat validator terdiri atas tiga orang dosen ahli dan satu orang guru IPA. Validitas bahan ajar diperoleh berdasarkan kualitas isi, kebenaran dan kedalaman konsep, kelayakan bahasa serta kualitas kelengkapan. Bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh validator, persentase setiap aspek yang diperoleh minimal 81.25% dengan kriteria minimal valid, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahan ajar berbasis model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan telah memenuhi syarat valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This development research refers to Borg and Gall development which was modified. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Validity data using content validity ratio formula by Lickert Scale. Data of learning feasibility, students’ activities, and student responses conducted on observations. Data obtained from pre and posttest which are used to assess student learning outcomes, were analyzed using the normalized gain formula. The results of the study showed that learning tools (lesson plan and worksheet) are developed showed on minimum valid criteria. The strains involved were y, w, m, yw, yw, wm, ywm, b, Cl, dp, bCl, bdp, Cldp, bCldp, and N. The data were analyzed in three ways of ANOVA using advanced test of LSD. I had found that only the female had significant effects on the female receptivity.

The present study aimed to explore the antecedent planning of metacognitive strategy-based natura... more The present study aimed to explore the antecedent planning of metacognitive strategy-based natural sciences learning in elementary schools in Gorontalo City. It employed an evaluative descriptive approach and the Stake's Countenance evaluation model. The research subjects were the teachers of the selected elementary schools. Further, the data was collected through observation, study documentation, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis by comparing data at one stage of the Countenance Stake model. The study found that the metacognitive strategy-based lesson plan arrived at the "adequate" category (68.90%).

Validitas bahan ajar diperoleh berdasarkan kualitas isi, kebenaran dan kedalaman konsep, kelayakan bahasa serta kualitas kelengkapan. Bahan ajar berbasis inkuiri terbimbing berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh validator, persentase setiap aspek yang diperoleh minimal 81.25% dengan kriteria minimal valid, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahan ajar berbasis model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan telah memenuhi syarat valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

This development research refers to Borg and Gall development which was modified. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Validity data using content validity ratio formula by Lickert Scale. Data of learning feasibility, students’ activities, and student responses conducted on observations. Data obtained from pre and posttest which are used to assess student learning outcomes, were analyzed using the normalized gain formula. The results of the study showed that learning tools (lesson plan and worksheet) are developed showed on minimum valid criteria. The strains involved were y, w, m, yw, yw, wm, ywm, b, Cl, dp, bCl, bdp, Cldp, bCldp, and N. The data were analyzed in three ways of ANOVA using advanced test of LSD. I had found that only the female had significant effects on the female receptivity.

It employed an evaluative descriptive approach and the Stake's Countenance evaluation model. The research subjects were the teachers of the selected elementary schools. Further, the data was collected through observation, study documentation, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique in this study was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis by comparing data at one stage of the Countenance Stake model. The study found that the metacognitive strategy-based lesson plan arrived at the "adequate" category (68.90%).
