This paper explores the applications of stochastic methods in the field of artificial intelligenc... more This paper explores the applications of stochastic methods in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on their contribution to optimization, learning, and decision-making. By employing stochastic models, we enable AI to effectively handle uncertainty, unpredictability, and data variation. We analyze how stochastic processes can improve the convergence of algorithms in training deep neural networks and optimizing parameters. Additionally, we investigate the applications of stochastic simulations in assessing the performance of machine learning algorithms in real-world conditions. Through this study, we highlight the key advantages and challenges of stochastic methods in the field of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, we explore how stochastic methods allow artificial intelligence models to better adapt to changing circumstances and unpredictable situations, thereby increasing their robustness and applicability in the real world. We analyze the impact of stochastic elem...

The data were adjusted for the height at which wind power could be harvested. Wind speed data were fitted with several statistical distributions in order to determine the one that best fits the data. It is shown that the Weibull distribution does not fit this particular set of data as well as some other distributions. Fits were tested using Anderson- Darling, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Cramer-von Mises tests as well as with P-P plot and Q-Q plot. Wind power density, wind rose and comparison between wind speeds at different seasons of the year were calculated to provide additional insight in wind behaviour at the location.

However, because of the possible low security level they should not be the first choice when choosing an e mail address. The objective of this study was to repeat the test applied on the world-wide known free web based e-mail services and apply it on the institutional and ISP’s e mail services in the Republic of Croatia. The aim was to compare the security level of the e mail services between free and non free (professional) ones. The security test from earlier studies was applied on several e-mail addresses from each group by using session hijacking hacking tool to compare their security level. From nine e mail services based in the Republic of Croatia only one was partly opened and that address was the only really free one. Comparison of these results with the earlier study, where the same test was applied on the top 10 f...

In order to receive unwanted e-mail and compare the amount that user receives at different e-mail addresses the authors simulated part of e-mail usage, the one when user registers on different Internet services. Results have shown that the users of the global free e-mail services on average receive significantly more unwanted e-mail compared to the users that use institutional or company’s e-mail address. There was also significant difference found among free global e-mail services. Simulation has also shown increasing trend in amount of unwanted e-mail received per month. Regarding these results and previous studies the authors’ advice is to prefer institutional or company’s e-mail address over free global e-mail services for Internet communication, especially when it is used for professional e-mail communication.
