The quantitative approach of research was used, specifically, the descriptive method of quantitative research was utilized and since the research aimed to determine the relationship among variables, namely, academic performance and students' motivational orientation, the correlational design of descriptive research was likewise employed. A total of 325 students out of 1729 students of grade 10 of a typical junior high school of Pasig City, Philippines, School Year 2018-2019 were asked to participate in this research. The results showed that the academic performance of the students was fairly satisfactory and their motivational orientations were interpreted as "true of me", which means that the respondents' motivational orientation were in affordance in terms of the variables as to intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation, task value, control of learning beliefs, self-efficacy for learning and performance, and test anxiety relative to the subject Earth Science. The research found out that generally, there were negligible correlations and insignificant relationships between the students' academic performance and motivational orientations. These findings suggest that though negligible correlations and insignificant relationships were found, extraneous factors may have affected their academic performance aside from the cited sources of motivation, these factors may be the teacher, the learning environment, the learners' home, or the curriculum itself.

The study used the quantitative approach to research, specifically it utilized the descriptive method using survey as way to gather data. The data was statistically analyzed using the frequency distribution, percentage formula, mean, and Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The study's findings show that the respondents' perceptions and experiences during the sudden change to online learning, which was caused by the pandemic that focuses on internet access, digital infrastructure, administrator assistance, and learning environments, are typically similar. Additionally, there were no significant differences found between the participants’ responses and their demographics as to sex, highest educational attainment, years in servic...

Data were collected from 26 students at Rizal Technological University-College of Education, Philippines, through pretest-posttest quasi-experimental and normative survey design of research. Data were statistically tested using the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent and independent samples, and paired t-test. Results of the research indicate that the respondents have optimistic attitudes towards the integration of learning management system in teaching. The respondents performed poorly in the pretest examination but performed very satisfactorily in the posttest examination. Furthermore, the research found out that there is no significant difference between the performances of the experimental group and control group in pretest and posttest, moreover, there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental gr...

The study used the quantitative approach to research, particularly the descriptive research methodology. The specific descriptive research designs utilized were the correlational and normative surveys. The contextual analysis technique was likewise used. Data were statistically tested with the use of frequency distribution formula, percentage formula, and percentage weighted mean The study concluded that the perspectives of the science teachers in executing the science spiral progression curriculum vary from school to school. The study also found out that several factors influence the students' learning progress and that majority of the Grade 10 students for the School Year 2017 – 2018 of the Division of Pasig City Phil...
