Novel microemulsification method with high drug loading (50%) and entrapment efficiency (∼67%) was developed (Indian Patent Application 3356/DEL/2013). RIF-SLNs were characterized using TEM, AFM, DSC and XRD. Near neutral SLNs (zeta -3.5±0.8), with average particle size of 130.0±22.6nm showed 70.12% release in phosphate buffer pH 6.8 in 9 days. Single oral dose (50mg/kg) pharmacokinetic studies in Wistar rats indicated 8.14 times higher (in compareson to free RIF) plasma bioavailability with sustained levels for 5 days. Pharmacodynamic parameters viz. TMIC (120h; time for which plasma levels were above MIC of 0.2μg/ml), AUC0-∞/MIC (1868.9h) and Cmax/MIC (75.6) for RIF-SLNs were greater than free RIF by 2.5, 8.2 and 6.6 times, respectively,. Similar LD50 (1570mg/kg) and absence (or reversal in satellite group) of adverse events in repeat dose (three doses; highest dose was up to 50 times the human therapeutic dose) toxicity studies confirmed safety of RIF-SLNs. Improvved pharmacokinetic profile of RIF-SLNs can be translated to a reduced dose and dosage frequency of RIF, thus resulting in lower or no hepatotoxicity commonly associated with its use.

In wireless communication the effect of multipath as well as shadowing takes place simultaneously... more In wireless communication the effect of multipath as well as shadowing takes place simultaneously over the channel and this phenomena leads to composite fading. G-distribution is frequently encountered distribution in wireless fading environment. Combination of multipath fading and shadowing model are used as composite fading model. This composite fading model is named as Gdistribution. G-distribution is a combination of the Inverse-Gaussian distribution and the distribution. In this paper the Pade approximation approach is used to analyze the performance of composite multipath/shadowed fading channel. This distribution is used to approximate any system in form of closed form solution as well as for accurate approximation in several shadowing conditions. The Pade approximation is applied over the general expression that is given in terms of moment generating function and results are obtained by varying shadowing parameters as well as signal to noise power threshold ratio. Our study start by deriving the moment generating function of the G-distribution and approximate them by using the Pade approximation for the calculation of bit error rate and outage probability for different values of average Signal to noise ratio (SNR). All simulations are done using Maple-13 software tool and results are obtained for outage probability and bit error rate versus average SNR.

Genetic Programming is a random process, and it does not guarantee results. Randomness is a problem that occurs during crossover operation. During the standard breeding process in Genetic Programming, crossover operation produces offspring with less than half of the fitness of their parent. Thus, it reaches the state where performance stops increasing a certain point, which ultimately leads to unsatisfactory performance of the GP. In this paper, we are proposing a special type of crossover operation named as BFS (Best First Search) crossover to improve overall performance of crossover operation. The proposed method is categorized as best first search; this ensures that it finds the optimal and complete solutions. To demonstrate our approach, we have designed a multi-class classifier using GP and tested it on various benchmark datasets. The results attained show that by applying BFS crossover together with point mutation refined the performance of classifier. "

Abstraet-Potentiometric studies of the interaction between copper(IlL nickel(ll) and zinc(ll) nit... more Abstraet-Potentiometric studies of the interaction between copper(IlL nickel(ll) and zinc(ll) nitrilotriacetates with certain bidentate ligands, such as salicylic acid(SA), 5-sulphosalicylic acid (SSA) and 1,2-dihydroxy benzene-3,5-disulphonic acid (Tiron) are reported. Ternary complexes having a 1 : l : l molar ratio of metal ion to nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) to the secondary ligand are formed. Their formation constants (Log KMAB) are reported and the probable reaction mechanism is discussed. The order of stability in terms of metal ion has been found to be Cu(ll) > Zn(lI) > Ni(ll) and in terms of secondary ligand as Tiron > SA > SSA.
